Yesterday, we honored the life of our cherished Amiga, a vibrant senior rescue who inspired us with her beauty, sass and spirit. Estimated to be around 31, she spent her final five years with us, and we feel grateful for the time we shared. We're thankful to Dr. Brookley and the staff at Angels Camp Veterinary Hospital for providing compassionate care and dignity in her passing. Thank you to our supporters who enable us to make a difference in the lives of animals like Amiga. Run free Amiga. ❤️ We will miss you.

Revlon and Cirrius were happy for nap time yesterday with Bane watching out for them. It’s a blessing to see these two who won’t be touched, comfortable enough in our presence to lay down to sleep. 💗

The herd is as relieved as we are that Friday’s storm is over. 45mph wind gusts were crazy! Everyone is safe and sound.

This day is for remembering to be thankful. We’re thankful for many things, one being family. We’ve been blessed with the family of Bane, Revlon and Tyr who have been together and safe since shortly after Tyr was born 4 years ago. It’s not often a mom gets to keep her baby in the world of breeders, but we promised Revlon she would. Always.
