So here at Hidden River Retrievers, 100's of people call us a week and ask why should we choose you? That is a no brainer here at HRR. Let us tell you why?
We are the only 100% transparent program in Central NC. Not only that, we only breed our girls when we have at LEAST 5 reservations in place prior to breeding our females.
We don't breed just to breed, we breed to please our clients and to take care of our girls. On top of that, you will find that we don't have puppies 24/7, 365. When it is time to retire our girls, they stay here with us. We brought our babies here as babies and they will stay here until it is time to cross the bridge. Unlike others that choose to find another home for their breeders simply because they have made all the money they need from that particular dog, we don't. We are not in this for the money, we are in this to continue to breed to the standard that the Labrador retriever breed is known for. Here, we personally know what this breed is capable of and will continue to only provide the best that this breed has to offer. They live out their lives right here with us as they should. We obviously are not Mother Nature but we try our best to not have puppies near or around major holidays such as Christmas, Easter and other "puppy" happy times of the year. If you are a client of ours, you are treated just as well as our puppies are. OH and that is another story! When our puppies are born, we live in the "puppy penthouse" for the entire 8 + weeks that they are here with us. We have in house veterinary care among other things that the big guys don't have. On top of that, they are socialized at birth and by the time they go to their new homes, they are a very well started pup just for you. Socialization starts at birth and continues throughout their time here on the farm. Here at Hidden River Retrievers, we don't open our home up to just anyone to come and visit our puppies when it is time to visit, only our clients are welcomed into our farm to see their future addition to their family. We health test, OFA certify all of our breeders and offer a guarantee that goes above and beyond others. SO, if you are looking to add a new addition to your family whether it be a hunter, service, therapy or just a new bestie, then you need to look no further. WE are the choice of the most discriminating buyer. We offer references from locals to al over the U.S. to even abroad.

It won't be long now. Stella x Knox 2025 is nearing. This next litter will be Stella's last litter before we put her in her retirement life. Stella will then live out her life in nothing but the "Lab" of luxury here at Hidden River Retrievers. Hidden River Retrievers NEVER places any of our retired dogs in other homes. They came to us as a family member and they will always be members of the HRR family. Keep and eye out for the Stella x Knox 2025 Litter announcement.
