I’d like you to meet Bubba 🐾
I have had the honor of working with him on nail trims since the summer of 2020! He was a rescue with no information on his past and when we started out, I was unable to even bring the clippers by his nails without him showing some fierce aggression.
I would visit him every 4 to 6 weeks to work on getting his nails back to a healthy length. He had to be muzzled due to his aggression and to help distract him, his mom would let him lick peanut butter off a spoon! In that time period Bubba and I slowly started to form a bond over what was a traumatic experience for him to being with and now it seems to be a visit he enjoys!
When we hit the summer of 2022 I was finally able to clip his nails without a muzzle!!!! 2 years of repetition, positive reinforcement and forming the amazing bond we have and he finally trusted me.
I now visit every 8 weeks-ish and am able to not only clip his nails, but also grind them so they can be as short and smooth as possible without hitting his quick!

Monte is the absolute sweetest to work with and his smile just makes my day 😁 I have been grooming him for just over 2 years now and I 100% look forward to each appointment with him 🖤🤍 He is all cleaned up and ready for the holiday season! ❄️ 🎄
