Magikarp is adoptable! This male plakat has made such an impressive recovery in such a short time. He is feisty like his flame-red color, loves to dance at the front of the tank, and will swim into your hand for snuggles. Magic is very active and will need at least a 5-gallon heated & enriched tank. Let us know if you need help setting up - we have a few extra tanks for adopters.

I didn't even notice when I was filming, but Quasimodo built a bubble nest in the upper right corner! Quasi's paternal behavior is one indication of positive animal welfare. 🪩🪹🎉

Quasimodo was surrendered because he has a spinal deformity; I call it his 🦈 "shark fin." He is healthy in every other way, and up for adoption to a home with a 2.5+ gallon tank. He promises to build you the best build bubble nests!

This black-masked male veiltail has so much personality! He’ll eat almost anything and likes to harass snails. His black face accents his teal, indigo, and scarlet markings.

Quasimodo has a (likely genetic) spinal deformity and needs space to swim easy. He will need a heated 2.5+ gallon tank with very slow, preferably dark water.
