Therapeutic Riding, Inc. is proud to support the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 34th Anniversary. On July 26th we celebrate this important civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public. The purpose of the law is to make sure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

Our horses need to be their best to help riders with disabilities! 🐴 💪 So, we learn from one of the best! Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Brandt Clark - Horseman for some instructor education. Brandt helped horses and humans work through challenges with emphasis on balance and confidence. Thank you, Brandt (and Maia!) for sharing your time & talents with the TRI team. ❤️

The EQUUS Foundation awarded its highest approval designation, the Guardian Seal of Transparency, to TRI for the 5th consecutive year. This designation is awarded for transparency, accountability, and willingness to share data about programming, horse care practices, and governance. Only those organizations that receive Guardian designation are eligible to receive financial support from the Equus Foundation. A grateful shout-out to Jeremy, Jen, and all the amazing volunteers who care for the horses that make our program stellar!
