Come join our team and let us show you how rewarding veterinary medicine can be!
We had a great time at our Pictures with Santa event yesterday!
We got to see so many adorable pets, all while raising money for a great cause.
One of our AMAZING technicians working the event (among many staff members that helped set up and facilitate the event) put together this video to highlight our evening.
Let us know what you think!

Here at EVH, we pride ourselves in offering as much comfort as we can provide in a hospital setting. For this duck, that means providing a pool for swimming! ๐ฆ๐ฆ
When she came to us, she was clearly not feeling well. After admitting her for the night for medications and monitoring, we are happy to report that she made a full recovery and went home with her family.

Six years ago today Emergency Veterinary Hospital officially opened our doors and we began serving the Ann Arbor area and surrounding communities.
I will never forget our first patient who arrived just 30 minutes after we opened. An Australian Shepherd with a urinary tract infection. We hardly knew how to use our software program, had to quickly get the microscope out of the box and put it together, and figure out how to use our label printer. Only 1/4 of our supplies order had arrived and we had just received temporary occupancy the day before.
It was a whirlwind 6 weeks before opening as we all learned real fast how to sand/prime/paint walls, install baseboard, install tile flooring, build IKEA cabinetry and install it, and make/install countertops. Our contractor had run off with our money and left the job halfway completed. It was a dismal time where we had two options - close up shop before we even opened, or show the community what perseverance is. For us the decision was easy - we were trained to save animals and we weren't going to let some sleazy contractor stand in our way!
We continued construction even after opening our doors (and still are constantly remodeling or improving SOMETHING at EVH) and in six years have gone from 5,000 square feet to 7,500 square feet. We continually add state-of-the art equipment, not to simply "have the latest gadget", but because we see the benefit to our patients to have the most advanced equipment available. Our staff has grown exponentially as well and we now have 7 staff veterinarians, and over 25 technicians, assistants, and customer service representatives.
Despite our growth we still hold true to our core values at EVH which will always be to practice patient-centered medicine making sure each patient is cared for as if they were our own furry family member. We feel so honored at EVH to have cared for so many wonderful patients and for the lasting relationships that we have built with our clients,
We are at the Washtenaw County Heart Walk this morning! If you're in the neighborhood stop by and say hi!
