We had a great time showing the Dexter Girl Scout Troop 40626 our ER. They listened attentively how our clinic works. They actually got a hands on experience of bandaging for an emergency situation. We open this opportunity to other groups. Please contact Gale at EVH for additional info!

The missing class ring!

These four bundles of joy gave their mama quite a rough time! This first time mom was simply panting and acting restless, nothing unusual for a mama dog about to deliver. But her astute owner felt something was "off" and brought her in to be evaluated at EVH. We used out ultrasound to locate all four heartbeats and not only could we visualize them, but we got to hear them just as human mamas do when they go for their prenatal scans. We were able to determine that all four were stable, but they were larger in size and needed to be delivered. Mama went into labor in the hospital and we were able to successfully help deliver all four of the puppies. Mama was exhausted, but her and the puppies are doing just fine! We had a great time at our Pictures with Santa event yesterday! We got to see so many adorable pets, all while raising money for a great cause. Santa’s in the building!! We have started taking pictures for our first ever Pictures with Santa event. We will be here until 7:30pm hosting the event and collecting donations for our Angel Fund and Angel Tree. Come by and see us!!

Here at EVH, we pride ourselves in offering as much comfort as we can provide in a hospital setting. For this duck, that means providing a pool for swimming! 🦆💦 When she came to us, she was clearly not feeling well. After admitting her for the night for medications and monitoring, we are happy to report that she made a full recovery and went home with her family.
