Just a heads up. The Anna clinic will be closed again on Saturday December 21st to finish up some plumbing issues. We will be seeing emergencies and tech appointments at the Vienna location. Please call Vienna at 618-658-4111 during that time. Thank you and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We have been made aware of the toxic algae bloom in the VIENNA water supply. They advise not to drink, cook with, or give the water to your pets. While there is no specific test to test for the algae in your pets and no specific cure, we can only treat symptomatically. Symptoms to watch for include, GI symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and hypersalivation, pale gums, breathing difficulties, neurological symptoms such as muscle tremors, and seizures. We want to make sure your pets stay hydrated especially if they are vomiting. Bloodwork can always be ran to check organ functions as well. If you have any concerns please contact one of our clinics and we can figure out your next steps. And just as a reminder, we only have an ER veterinarian on call until 6pm daily.
