Has been used as a ranch horse most of his life. He’s handy broke and as smooth as they come!
This cute little bay gelding will go where you point him. We’ve penned cattle off him, shipped trucks and sorted yearlings. This little guy will cow up!
The kiddos have swam ponds, carried flags, rode parades, trails, and they have rode him in the feedyard with us on the weekend. He is great with kids. Puts up with a lot. I think he would fit just about anyone.
He is easy to catch, shoe, and hauls great.

If your looking for a beginner head horse or just a good ole SAFE horse for trails, take a look at Freckles‼️

Freckles is a 17yo 15.2hh grade gelding.
He has been there, done that.
Freckles has carried Old Glory in all the arenas and parades all over Texas the past few years.
He’s taught numerous kids how to team rope. He is currently still being hauled by our daughter.
He leaves flat out of the box, scores like a rock, pulls from the horn and faces. He’s the same trip every time!
As far as out side of the arena, he’s great in traffic, crosses creeks, isn’t spooky. We are giving lessons off him now to beginner riders. He’s laid back and easy going.

He will make a great addition to a team ropings family or ANY family looking for a SAFE horse!

We would like to pay tribute to the horse who carried the original Bar KC brand.
Many ask why the brand is backwards. Well, ole Moe was accidentally branded backwards when he was a 2 year old. This horse was Keith’s best friend and partner. We couldn’t change it after Moe was marked, so. Every horse worthy of carrying Bar KC was branded just like ole Moe from there on out.
Moe passed away a couple Fridays ago at the age of 30.
He was a good one .

Finished HEEL HORSE.
This guy is the REAL DEAL. Been hauled and paid for himself over and over.
He’s been used outside and is ranch broke too!
Stands 14.3 hands tall.
He’s quiet in the box. Hauls great!
Just about anyone can ride Chipotle, but he’s best suitable for a #4 roper and up.
He is currently being hauled to 15s and down.

Comrade has been a personal horse of ours for right at 2 years. He’s worked the feedyard, back pens at NCHA cuttings, he’s been to the pasture to gather cattle, tagged a few calves off him and shipped fat cattle.
This guy doesn’t get riled up about much at all. If your looking for a speed demon, just go on and pass on Comrade. He is more of your easy-going kind. He will get up and go when asked though.
This guy has been to all the local parades and has carried my kids and flags. He’s packed beginners and babies. He’s the one I grab if someone just wants to ride a horse!
Nothing much spooks him. You can mount him from either left or right side. He’s been exposed to traffic, tarps, loaders, bridges, dogs, big birds, … and we even survived the eclipse together 😂….
He loads, leads, stands for farrier.
He is shod right now for work, but has GREAT feet and could go barefoot.
Rides ba****ck, alone, in a group, out in open area or in an arena.

This is one cool dude! He has been used extensively in ranch work . He will go all day!
Rides around with a nice finished handle.
Dakota is fun to sort off of, he really hunts a cow. He’s been roped off of in the pasture but not yet been introduced to the team roping side yet. If he stays much longer, he WILL make a head horse! This guy has a set of wheels with a big stop!!
He CAN be a little fresh with time off, but nothing you can’t ask him out of. He is by no means a bronc, but he is not a beginner’s horse or for someone who isn’t confident. He’s all business.
Keith has carried flags off him during the ranch rodeo. He’s shipped fats and yearlings, worked wheatpasture, made many many miles in the feedyard and has been on cow/calf.
He knows his leads and rides real soft in the bridal .
This guy is a nice ride and will make oneheck of a head horse, pick up horse or continue his career as a ranch pony.
