So hard to find a home where he can be the only pajama wearing, four legged family member. He Loves all humans large and small and ignores all the hecklers and name callers that live on the other side of the fence. Buddy’s favorite pastime is playing dress up and watching tv from his favorite couch and about the easiest dog EVER, but first you have to take the initiative to come and meet him! 🙏

Yes, but I live rural and sleep with a fan. 😂
He’s one hell of a scent catcher and him and I really hit it off, so well in fact, that my scent would set him off unless he could tag behind me. He was a couch potato most of the time that knew my schedule and was rather.. well.. insistent that he be released from his kennel or play yard so he could shadow me.
This old man won my heart and I am so happy he found a home that is familiar with the breed and will give him the very best life.

Mazie likes her food, so as we were prepping bowls of food for the finished kennels, Mazie could not control her drooling. 🤤
Mazie is deaf, but gets through life just fine and between that nose and those all seeing eyes, she knows exactly what’s going on around her.
Marleigh's Friends Rescue is offering a $25 adoption fee for any of their dogs currently in boarding. Mazie is super sweet and there is never an issue with her, we just ❤️ her!!
She does great with other large males, you would need to check about cats with her rescue. She seeks out attention and butt scratches from humans, but not in a pesky way.
Please consider fostering or adopting her, she is such a joy to have around. 🫶

A little backstory..
Scout (white dog) is what I call a “grumpy old man”. He prefers to do his own thing and pretty much wants all dogs to leave him alone. He use to run with another dog that recently went to foster so decided to put him out with partial of the morning group. Raven just won’t say “no” and kept at him for awhile till he finally gave in. This was about all he was willing to put forth in effort. 😂 Tomorrow we will try again and see if we can work some of that grumpy out of him. 🤞

Sometimes folks are hesitant to foster a boarding dog. Common thoughts are that something must be wrong with them if others gave up.
WRONG!
Meet Kai (dog on her back) was adopted as a puppy. She grew to be, what I consider a med size dog. These sh*thead adopters who should NEVER own a dog built a small makeshift kennel in their backyard and decided that’s how she should live her life forever. 😡 Poor Kai pleaded with them to let her out, that she promised to be a good girl. Every time she tried to get their attention they would scream at her and throw things at her and tell her to “SHUT THE F%#K UP!” She stayed out there through bad weather, hot weather, so she tried to make friends with the people who lived next door, however they too thought of themselves as above having empathy for a dog, so they complained. Thankfully this was what enviably got her returned to her rescue. Kai sat in boarding until she finally caught the attention of a volunteer while they were transporting other dogs and was given a chance to show how special she is. This is Kai with another former boarding dog named Freddie who was adopted by this special family. ❤️
Although this is not the end of Kai’s story..
This family has another new arrival of the human sort coming in one month and this lady is on a mission to get Kai into her very own home before this happens!!
Please help share and show folks that Kai is the most wonderful dog that time has come to find her forever ever.
