Well that didn't go as planned! My assessment/What I know: 1. I tried Cococoir for the first time. It seemed to dry out twice as fast as peat! I watered what I thought was on time but maybe I should set different parameters for using cococoir. 2. These received too much light. 3. Some new seeds. 4. Overseeded (on purpose) in a small container. Plan: Try again with adjustments to all things mentioned above. Did you know that nature can act as its own crock-pot? Many vegetables, herbs, and flowers can be planted when it is cold and will sprout when the temperature and conditions are right. Garlic is a great example. These were planted in the fall as the garden was overwintering.
