As another year winds down, it’s a good time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished, be thankful for how far we’ve come, and proudly share where we’re going in 2025.

In January, we promised a year chock-full of ambitious rescue goals and far-reaching objectives, which we strived to reach with each passing week. And we are so very proud to say that this year has been everything we hoped for and more...we have squeezed so much incredible work into these past 12 months.

With that being said, we are beyond excited to announce our new partnership ~ with the

🧡🧡🧡 🐶🐱✈️ 🧡🧡🧡

Over the last several months, we’ve been talking with the amazing ASPCA team, discussing how we might work together to save more lives through air transportation and much needed relocation for dogs and cats in overwhelmed shelters.

On Tuesday, November 19th, we flew to Hattiesburg, MS, where 46 dogs were waiting to board our plane bound for Coatesville, PA. Since that day, we’ve flown a total of four missions from Mississippi to Pennsylvania, transporting 112 dogs and 67 cats, nearly 200 animals, to a fresh start in a safe place, where we hope they’ll be able to live long, healthy lives.

We’re looking forward to making many more flights with the ASPCA! It’s an honor to be their partner and share in the outstanding work their organization does for animals across the country.

Our 3rd ANNUAL HOWL-OWEEN COSTUME CONTEST WINNER!

This Halloween, Chicory, the Flying Ace, from Astoria, NY is paying homage to his adoption from Baton Rouge, LA, where he became a passenger on our plane bound for Binghamton, NY. There, his amazing new family was waiting for him with open arms, a safe new home, and huge hearts.

It was love at first sight for Jonette Senko and Kevin Quinn, who anxiously waited at the gates the day we brought Chicory, and many others from cramped shelters in Louisiana. Once he arrived at his new home in Astoria, neighbors in their building came out to greet him and they have all been best friends ever since. 🥹

Chicory is a hit in his neighborhood and loves saying hello to everyone he meets along his walks. This was a ‘meant to be’, match made in heaven. We’re so happy they found each other and we’ll never get tired of hearing these stories. 🖤

We would welcome this little aviator back onboard any day! CONGRATS CHICORY!! 🎃🐾🌚🕸️🦇

Jonette and Kevin, your $50 gift card to is on the way!

🐈‍⬛ NEW BLOG POST 🐈‍⬛

“A philosopher is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat that isn’t there. A theologian is the man who finds it.”

– H.L. Mencken

For centuries, and across many cultures, black cats have represented the elusive unknown, gatekeepers of a knowledge just beyond our comprehension. With their mysterious reputations and mystical affiliations, black cats have long captured our imaginations – and our hearts. And the upcoming holiday of hauntings wouldn’t be complete without images of black cats decorating our doors and windows. Black cats are synonymous with Halloween, depicted as the beloved sidekicks of witches and earthly deities.

While many find this added mystique part of their undeniable charm, they’ve nonetheless earned a precarious classification as “bad luck” and even today, only 10% of black cats in shelters are adopted. So, here’s a little history to cut through the mystery, and hopefully shift the perspective of these ebony beauties from ominous to astounding.

Last week, on October 3rd, as we were delivering relief supplies and evacuating animals displaced by Hurricane Helene, these flights marked our two year anniversary! It was a bit of deja rescue for us too. In 2022, we made our first flight from Naples, FL with 36 cats who were relocated to Nashville, TN in the wake of Hurricane Ian. Since then, we’ve transported over 5,400 animals, across 57 cities in nearly 100 flights.

Transporting 7,500 lbs of supplies and flying 250+ animals from hurricane ravaged areas in North Carolina and Florida, and working with such amazing responders and shelter teams, has been a life-changing experience. We’re reminded every day why we love our job and are deeply dedicated to our mission.

We can’t wait to see what the next two years bring and we can’t thank our partners, donors and friends enough - we wouldn’t be here without you! ❤️🐾✈️
