After the petting zoo at combat park was cancelled, I reached out to them and we have decided to do a petting zoo this weekend at their festival, then they have rescheduled the Bash event for the end of the month. Whee. At least the pens are already in place =p.

oh my... what a day. Petting zoo at Combat Park was cancelled about 7:30, I was on my way to the museum with the reptiles. Matthew put up the critters he had loaded and came to the museum. Thankfully we had some amazing volunteers because I am not sure we stopped moving till almost 3.

The museum was wonderful! But dang what a long day. I was up at 12:30 getting the reptiles together. We took a bunch, and I am glad we did. We met some great folks and possibly have 2 kids that are interested in helping out!

I was fighting sciatica and a possible pinched nerve in my neck so I was pretty grumpy but I think I managed to not tick anyone off, too badly =p

Herpfest was great and it was wonderful to talk to all the vendors there. Thanks to RNB FINZ N CHICKS we got lunch. Now I am falling down =p

Anyone available to help at Herpfest or Combat Park on June 1, let me know. I know several events were rescheduled for that day. Herpfest will be handling the reptiles and talking about them. Combat Park is fuzzier petting zoo (with shade and a fan).

New baby alert. These are leopard tortises and omg they are adorable. Even being this small they are so inquisitive and active. They got their first soaking and are settled in

This weekend we have gospel fest in Jacksonville. June 1 we have the big event at combat park (Eastaboga) then we have been asked to come to Herpfest at Anniston Museum. We can use help for all of these events. Warning ***** Herpfest will be full of snake and such so be warned. I am hoping to take most of the reptiles to that.

Not done but I quit. Made the pens for Banner, Lady (and Nelson), and Maple (and Bear). Moved everyone. Fed and watered all. Got some feed, picked up a package at the post office, medicated those who needed it, made food for (and fed) geckos, greens eaters, and chameleons. Now I quit.
