Closed for winter. This is the official page for the mobile petting zoo. Longer times and distances can be negotiated. Addition charges for additional animals.

We will still post dates and such to the main page, but this one will be for JUST the petting zoo. Small Petting zoo is 1 alpaca, 1 llama, 2 goat, 1-2 sheep, mini horse or donkey, 1-2 pigs.

4 hours petting time is $500 (within 50 miles). Special pricing for churches, schools, and civic organizations. Available are the Highland cow, pony rides, and more of each animal. We can make arrangements for special occasions also like a pair of animals for a birthday party, wedding, or such.

Heard back from Twin Creeks. Peanut has abcesses in both lungs, but Dr Heath thinks he sounds at least marginally better than he did Friday before last. Lots of white discharge in his trachea. And he was acting mildly colicy. So they want to do another 5 days of antibiotics and an inflammation med to see how he does.

At the vet with Peanut. Unfortunately what we thought was an upper respiratory infection is starting to move into his lungs. He will be unable to go to petting zoos for at least a week to allow him to get well. We did catch it early so it should be treated easily. Waiting on the blood work and meds from the vet.

We have been asked to provide ponies for a single event. We stopped doing this due to the lack of people to help. If we can get some to help with either the petting zoo or the ponies on 09/28, we can do this. We need at least 4 bodies. This is the bare minimum to allow folks time to enjoy the farm day, eat, and have coverage.

Today was reptile day. Moved some to bigger tanks, moved tanks to be easier to access, and fed all the nonrodent eaters.
