Camp McClellan Horse Trails Campground

In response to the EHV outbreak, Camp McClellan Horse Trail has implemented temporary restrictions from November 20 to December 5, 2025. Equine activities, including day rides, overnight stays, arena, corrals, or stalls, are not permitted during this time. However, non-equine events will continue as planned. If you have booked camping accommodations, you may still camp without equine. Alternatively, the camp will provide assistance with rescheduling or refunds. This decision prioritizes the safety and well-being of our equine companions, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

At camp McClellan horse trails and campground you will need to check in at the store before you unload .. our camp manager will be checking in horses .. if your horse or mule have any of these symptoms do not bring them contact your vet .. if they have these symptoms when you arrive we will contact a veterinarian to come out and check your stock .. this will be at owners expense .. plz be aware and take all precautions to protect your beloved stock ..

For an outstanding horse or mule camping experience in Alabama, look no further. Judy and Vickie, the camp hostesses, are top-notch. The campground offers a pleasant, cool atmosphere. Trails are fantastic! Campers have access to a camp store, pavilion with bathrooms and showers. Stalls, corral panels, and high lines are provided, along with an arena.

Thoroughly enjoyed the ride at Camp McClellan Horse trails- Freedom Hill, Perry Hill and Warhorse just a hint of Yahoo Cross over 😜 it was a perfect day to be out on these lovely trails.
