Kinlaw is at the same shelter as Luke who was saved.
This sweet pup has an adopter as of May 1st if I can find him a temporary foster in the Northeast. I will be transporting him to where he needs to be.

Luke is safe! I found someone to help in North Carolina from A Shelter Friend . Sylvia is amazing, 2nd dog she saved for me and new owner.
Luke has a second chance!! I will be picking him up on 3/7. He has been tested and passes with other dogs and cats. He is a sweet boy, about 50 pounds. He is neutered and heartworm negative!
I learned that he was brought to the shelter because his owner has tetminal cancer and had no options.

Update: Luke is safe! He has had his neuter surgery and has a foster in Connecticut. You can apply to adopt this love bug who has been tested and does great with both cats and dogs. He has another chance of finding a forever home after his owner became terminally ill and felt no choice but to leave him at a shelter.

If anyone would like to contribute, I am trying to save Luke. I am awaiting calls back from the shelter and from boarding to see if they can pick him up and board until I can get there. Message me if you would like to help

*adopted*💛Jesco: Approximately 1yr old, mixed breed, male, around 50lbs. Did OK on dog test ✅🐶 although was shy. Poor Jesco came in with 3 doggie friends (Clair, Boswell & Jiff - all adopted/rescued) and he is now the only one left and he doesn’t know why he was left behind 😭.

*rescued non partnered rescue*💙Luke: an incredibly sweet and friendly guy who NO ONE has even asked about and we have no idea why 😭. Luke is a 2 yo, 50lbs, sweet baby boy who ended up at the shelter for no fault of his own other than an owner who abandoned him 😭. Understandably, he doesn’t know what he’s doing here and is getting increasingly depressed and stressed in the kennels 💔. In spite of this, Luke did GREAT on his dog test ✅🐶, even enticing one of the less playful dogs to play with him, which he was THRILLED about. He did well on cat test too ✅🐈. About pledges: Pledges are only collected/sent to our approved rescue partners. We do this to ensure our followers money is going to reputable groups. If anyone would like to attempt to work with us, they should fill out the app on our website below. We are not your “normal” networking page. Please read the about us section for info on us.
The process on our page: We try and raise at least $700 (inflation is killing us) in pledges for each dog who is in good condition and we likely can find a foster for. If a dog is in bad condition & likely hw+ we strive for $1100 goal due to the injections & boarding for the treatment. Pull fees at the shelter are currently $35 for the vaccines shown below. We are a non-profit so we collect the pledges, subtract the pull fee and donate what's left to the rescue for whatever else they may need (further vetting, HW testing, HW treatment, transport, boarding, etc.). Pledges are for non-profit rescue partners only. Please help us help them! Pledges are ONLY for rescue orgs. partnered with us.

Sorry for not putting pics up for a while, I have been all over the country, enjoying my time with the precious babies, and helping some doggos in need!! Most recently, a litter of white German shepherd puppies came into my rescue, and I am so beyond happy to report that they have all found homes!! And they have all gone home in pairs! A male and femal to each of the 4 wonderful homes! I could not ask for a better outcome. Thanks to the experience in screening applications done by Legends of the Paws Animal Rescue , with background checks done and phone conversations with the applicants, I can rest easy knowing my babies are safe and well cared for, for their lifetimes.

I am also partnering with a long time friend on the east coast to expand our transport availability. You will love working with Lorraine just as you have enjoyed my care of your babies!!

I will be headed to Wisconsin in a few hours to retrieve the white shepherd pups. If anyone knows of someone who might be interested in adopting, they can foster to adopt and see if it's a good fit before committing. Also need fosters.

1/2/25 pups delivered to you if in the northeast. 1/4/25 to Florida.

These pups are living in a situation where the current owners are unable to provide them regular feedings. I have given them funds to do so but it is unclear of the money is being spent to care for the dogs. I don't want them there any longer, but still need foster homes or adopters to come forward.
The adoption fee will be $275 and includes transport to your home. They will have 2 rounds of puppy shots, and a 3rd round I will be sure to get for them. Adopter will need to get rabies vaccine and spay/neuter. I am able to get them to an affordable spay/neuter veterinarian if you will allow them to travel with me a few days, which will happen after adoption.

The two pups are doing great. I think they like being indoors with a family that loves them. The first male has a home. The female has an interested possible adopter. 7 more arriving in a few days. I have a few fosters, am still looking for more fosters, adopters and small donations to help with the vetting that will be done prior to adoption.

The pups are doing great. My brother is taking the first male and I chose not to separate them yet. Vet visit next to screen for parasites, lyme etc. They will have had 2 of 3 needed puppy shots before adopted. They are not used to leash walking just yet.

I hate to do this...but am asking for donations to help with 1) the fee I am paying to remove them from their current situation. 2) The second round of puppy shots, testing at the vet, f***l sample, flea/tick/heartworm/ worm monthly preventative.
Since my rescue is very new, I do not have my not for profit tax I.d number yet, so I am hopeful for small donations from many people. Larger donations are not fair without the tax savings.

Summary: A litter of 10 pups in Wisconsin was recently made known to me. The people brought 2 pups for me to select from, as I was getting one for my brother who has been in search of a White German shepherd. The fee was $400. Upon being in person, taking the information I had into consideration, and the fearful nature of the pups, and the people who had them...I realized this was a situation. I took both pups. During my time with them it became clear to me their diet was grass and dirt. These pups are not being fed. Unsure how long that has been the case. I am going back for 7 more pups. I did pay the fee they asked so they have plenty of money to feed them until I return. I pray the funds are spent on some food. I will be in talks with other rescues to see if they can take some of them, as this is a large budget situation, difficult with just my personal funds. Legends of the Paws Animal Rescue will be completing the application screenings for me. You can complete an application to adopt at www.legendsofthepaws.com Please answer each question as it will not submit otherwise. Still determining the adoption fee. It will be less than the $400 fee being asked from the current owners. I will subsidize as much as I possibly can. They will need 3rd puppy shot, rabies vaccine, spay/neuter at adopters expense. All of this is being taken into consideration. Transport to anywhere in the U.S. will be included in their adoption fee.
