These rescued felines are ready to move in and make you smile. They are all kittens except playful Brewsky who is 1 year and 9 months old. Most get along with dogs and cats, and they are all sweeties who deserve a second chance. PJ and Tom are bonded and are the only ones who must be adopted or fostered together.

Idk what to say. 🤷‍♀️ Zeus needs help. 🐶 We need help getting Zeus help. 🙏 I'm not going to lie, Zeus needs training. 🐕 He probably has anxiety due to him being given up by at least 2 owners. 😥 His life has consisted of running, escaping just trying to find where he belongs. 💔 He needs a strong, knowledgeable, patient and persistent handler to help him overcome his shortcomings.

He's probably no older than 2, not neutered (we will take care of that) , hasn't shown any aggression towards other dogs, has been around kids.

He may not be easy at first, but when pets are given up by humans we can't expect them to have the perfect manners. 😔 I really need placement TODAY 🗓️

Meet Gunner - he’s going on 2.5 years old and his main breed is Australian Cattle dog. He is an active and friendly boy who has lived with kids, dogs and cats and gets along with them all. He is house and crate trained, but his new home will need a taller fence as he can jump! His favorite toys are rawhide chew toys.

He recently had a Vet check and updated shots, so he’s healthy and ready for his next chapter!

Meet Benny.This sweet Poodle mix is looking for a new forever lap. This loving little guy is 6 years old, weighs 12 pounds, and has the warmest heart. ♥️ He recently lost his beloved owner and is now hoping for a calm, caring home where he can feel safe and loved again.

He is very affectionate—a true lap dog who wants nothing more than to cuddle all day and give kisses. He gets along well with other dogs…we don’t know how he is with cats. He would thrive in a home where closeness, comfort, and companionship are part of daily life.

🚨 Please give Zeus a chance — he’s been waiting long enough ⚡🐾

Frankly Zeus owner for the last 7 mos has expressed that animal control can take him. WE DON'T WANT THAT FOR ZEUS

About 7 months ago, Zeus was found running loose near I-17 & Jomax with his doodle buddy. After surviving nearly two weeks on the streets 💔, both dogs were rescued ❤️. The doodle went to a rescue, and Zeus was taken in by an Anthem resident 🏡.

Now Zeus needs to be rehomed — through absolutely no fault of his own. Life circumstances changed, not Zeus.



Zeus is a young guy, likely under 2 🐶⚡. He’s sweet, affectionate, and full of personality — and yes, he does need some training. He’s athletic, energetic, and currently undefeated in the Doggie High Jump Olympics 🏅😂. Translation: he’ll need supervision and a secure outdoor setup.

He still needs to be neutered (covered by us) ✂️, which may drop him from gold to bronze 🥉. More importantly, neutering plus consistency and stability will help him settle into the incredible dog he’s clearly meant to be ✨.

Here’s the real win: Zeus loves people, enjoys other dogs, and wants connection ❤️🐕. He’s not a problem dog — he’s a good dog who’s been missing stability.

♦2025 was our BIGGEST Year of Rescues and Adoptions♦

Anthem Pets Animal Rescue's 20th Year of Service was a BIG Year for the pets with 622 SAVED, 91 more than 2024, and 544 ADOPTED, 80 more than last year.

Thanks to our passionate VOLUNTEERS and FOSTERS who work every day - seriously, EVERY DAY! Thank you to our generous DONORS and the ADOPTERS who chose to adopt and save a life.

This gorgeous gray, white and orange tabby has a personality as special as her markings. She’s a sweet girl who enjoys being petted, especially when it’s on her terms. She wants companionship but needs space to be herself. She would do well with a mellow, friendly cat and with older kids who can respect her boundaries.
