This little Pit/Chi (?) mix is equal parts party girl and cuddle bug. We keep asking what conditioner she is using to keep that coat so shiny, but she isn't telling. 😉 Maybe her new family will have better luck unlocking that secret. Otherwise she has unlocked her joy and zest for life and we cannot get enough of it...

#AdoptMe #RescueMe Azul is an approximately 5 year old Bully mix that looks like he should be a character on the Muppet Show....🐸. He was found tied up outside a local Veterinary office suffering from a large wound to his neck. The injury was thought to possibly be the result of a dog bite. It has all healed up. Azul also needed some dental work that was beyond the capability of our Veterinary staff. Thanks to Antioch Friends of Animal Services his mouth had a marvelous make over and he is much happier chewing on his toys.😊
About this Bully boy.....Azul is an independent kinda guy. He entertains himself with toys. Even with his Bully mode in play, Azul does listen and those ear nubbins hear the words "sit" and "no" there is usually a head tilt before the body responds - a lil Bully time delay. 😆 His snorts of delight and his whipping tail indicate that he's feeling good and we know what would feel better is to be in a home that he can call his where he can relax and take his time to enjoy simple doggy delights. 🥰
We haven't been successful in introducing Azul to other dogs yet. We know his hyper vigilant state makes it overwhelming for him and not all dogs react equally to snorting, piggy dogs, but there is always hope. 🙏

#RescueMe For those who were asking...Nemo is doing great post surgery! However, he hasn't landed in a foster home (yet).
Nemo came to us missing a paw and using his leg as a crutch. He also had a horribly misaligned jaw causing his canines to be out of order.
Thanks to the generosity of Antioch Friends of Animal Services and the team at East Hills Veterinary Hospital Nemo had a leg amputation and extensive dental work that have made him feel so much better. 🙏
Nemo is every dog friendly. He will chase outdoor cats. He's very sweet, but is a large pup at heart and this year old Cane Corso mix has room to grow and learn.
We are entertaining foster to adopt families. California Bully Rescue are also willing to transfer him with a foster offer. ❤️
