As many of you know, our kennel will close the end of September. No more boarding after that day. However, there will still be ring rentals, events and other activities that you can use the training center for. Just call the center to reserve your time, 847-838-0523. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, maybe enjoying days off from work. Emma enjoyed time with Santa. The three Golden Retrievers just hope for extra cookies. A little snow for Christmas would be nice. Have a safe New Year's. Northwestern game is New Year's Eve.

Frank has retired, as you know, but there is a lot going on here. Mondays: Nose work at 10 am., Obedience at 7:30 pm.
Tuesdays: Obedience at 6pm. Wed.: Obedience at 11 am and at 6 pm. Thursday: Int. obedience at 5 pm and Beginner at 6 pm.
Saturday: 10 am, puppy obedience at 1 pm, obedience. These classes are taught by different people. Call for more information, 847-838-0523. Give is a call if interested.

Monday eve, Kati & Ron's K9 Dog training, 7:30 - 8:30.
Jan. 3- Feb. 7. 6 week class, $120. For 6 mo. & older dogs.

Message from Frank: I have decided it's time to retire from teaching obedience training, effective December 1st. Thanks to the many people and dogs that have trained with me over the 30 plus years our school has operated. I am truly grateful for that experience. Nancy and I want to move on with our lives at a more leisurely pace. The Center will continue to offer boarding and ring rental and I hope a training program offered by others will be hosted here in the future. Best wishes to all.

Our dogs are so devoted. Those of you who work with your dog on something know how they watch you for information. Rio is gone now, of course, but he was an example of this.

Rio says thanks for the happy 14th birthday wishes. Time flies. He is always watching. Doesn't want to miss anything.

Still staying close to home. We are fortunate to have the forest preserve right next door, so we can walk there. Sure hope we can see you all in May! Posting a photo of Strider and Mitch with Frank at their graduation a year or so ago. Notice Stider's foot is on Frank's shoe. Love puppies.

We have had several requests for ring rental information. The cost is $20 for 1 hr., 1 ring. $10 for 1/2 hr., 1 ring. It does not matter how many people are in the ring. Well, within reason. We have jumps for obedience. These rings must be reserved. We have classes Monday through Thursday, evenings, so not available then. Classes Wed. morning also. Otherwise they are available unless someone has reserved one.
