K911 Animal Rescue is a Cat & Dog Rescue in the East Bay Area of Contra Costa County. We hold adoption events almost every weekend at local pet stores!

Check our events regularly for updates. K911 Animal Rescue is a non profit cat & dog rescue that rescues abandoned and displaced animals that would otherwise remain on the streets and/or be euthanized. By utilizing our home based foster volunteers we help give abandoned, abused and displaced cats a chance at forever homes. By educating the community we reduce the number of senseless deaths by pet

overpopulation and disease. K911 pays for all the necessary vetting of each cat & dog prior to adoption. Every K911 cat & dog is spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed and vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines.

Katie Lou is an 8 month old girl. Katie Lou is the absolute sweetest. She loves cuddling on your neck (we call her a scarf kitty), sleeping on your pillow at night, and will purr the second you start petting her. She loves to play and will “fetch.” She loves toy mice to be thrown and she will bring them back to you. She always wants to be in the same room with you. Great with kids and cats. Slow introduction to dogs. She would do best in a home with another kitty.

Katie Lou has FHV. In many cats, being a carrier of the virus does not cause problems, however any stressful situation, such as travel, boarding, or introducing new animals, can activate the virus. (https://www.medvet.com/feline-herpes-virus-eosinophilic-keratitis/)

Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip/registration, flea and worm treatment.
