Hello to our amazing clients!!! Christmas and New Years is fast approaching. Boarding is booking up quickly so please call for your reservations ASAP! Please read through the attached post regarding holiday boarding. We are excited to spend the holidays with your pups!

IMPORTANT INFO BELOW REGARDING THE UPCOMING HOLIDAYS:

The holidays are fast approaching, and we are already starting to fill up for Thanksgiving boarding. If you are needing to board for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years, PLEASE CALL SOON!! Some other important info is listed below, to help make the holidays go as smooth as possible for owners, pets, and staff!

- Please have shot records texted or emailed ahead of your boarding day. Please remember state requirements are rabies, distemper including Parvo, and bordetella unless your vet contacts us for other arrangements. Also we recommend lymes, canine influenza and any others your vet suggests .

-If you bring your own food, please try to condense as small as possible ( ie maybe keep the large bins of food, or large bags) at home. Please ask for recommendations. We are here to help!!

-Please also make sure medications are in the original bottles and clearly labeled.

-If you would like any grooming done during their stay, please let us know at the time of creating your reservation. We try our very best to get this done, and it is easier to manage if we are given a heads up in advance :)

-We provide beds, blankets, water, food bowls, toys, and anything else you could imagine . We prefer if you leave yours at home because thing become crowded and we feel bad If they get torn up or lost.

Just a reminder that we are closed on holidays (thanksgiving, christmas, new years) and only open until Noon the day prior. We are still here to take care of your pups, however the office is closed for pick up and drop off. If you need to have a pick up or drop off outside of normal business hours, please give us a call and we can work this out with you.

We are also booking further out for grooming, so please call sooner than later to schedule your grooming.

We are excited to welcome the upcoming holidays and to celebrate them with your pups, but please be patient with us during this very busy time.

DAYCARE OF THE WEEK! Bruno is a goofy guy who would rather hangout in the kennel with staff than with the other dogs. He loves to go on his morning walks, say hello to the sheep, and is always running around with staff during cleaning and feeding. He is very vocal and loves to sing (as most huskies do!). He does daycare a little bit differently than some of our other daycare goers, but finds his own ways to make it a fun day. Thanks for coming Bruno!!

Hello to all of our amazing clients! This is just a post reminding everyone that we close at noon on November 27th (the day before Thanksgiving). We are expecting a lot of dogs coming in for boarding are just asking that you please be patient with us. We are a small business with limited staff, we are all trying our very best! We are hoping everyone can be cooperative with our closing time and make sure their pups are able to be dropped off/picked up before noon. Thank you everyone for being so understanding and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday🦃

DAYCARE OF THE WEEK!! Stitch is a very goofy boy who loves to play. His mom says he is up early in the morning ready to go to "puppy daycare" every day. He has so much fun playing with the other dogs, especially the high energy ones. We also found out today that he likes puddles (yikes!! But we got him all wiped down and cleaned up for his parents) Thanks for coming to daycare Stitch!

Hello everyone our resident mats; Buttkiss and Hairy Styles thought it would be a good time to talk to our clients about mats!!.

Mats are tangled clumps of fur that can be painful and cause many heath isssues. Mat facts:

🐾 Mats pull up on the skin and can cause sores underneath, or ripping skin entirely.

🐾 Mats can trap moisture and cut off air flow, which can lead to skin infections!!

🐾Mats can hide or mask fleas or ticks making them harder to see; exacerbating and prolonging tick and flea borne illnesses.

🐾Matting that is to severe and extreme can limit your dogs natural movement and in some cases limit circulation.

We prefer to keep your furry friends at the desired length you choose, however we would like to maintain a positive relationship with our clients... the furry ones too. We would all like to keep them long but sometimes that is bit impossible. But we do have some advice to help that goal be reachable at home.

✔️ We recommend using a slicker brush and a metal comb. Link below

✔️ Seperate, brush/ comb in sections down to the skin gently, just as if it was a child 's hair.

✔️The most important part is to make sure the metal comb goes through to the skin, not forgetting the tail and ears.

✔️Leaving collars, harnesses, and clothes on the pet for prolonged periods of time without combing can cause matting underneath .

✔️Most people brush the dog's back very well, however the legs , stomach, and face are missed quite often.

What we can do to help:

✂️If you cannot get the mats out please give us a call to help as soon as you notice them.

✂️We offer brush outs between groomings starting at 15 dollars, so let us know how we can help.

DAYCARE OF THE WEEK! Remy and Rufus come together for daycare a few times a week. Remy has been coming for quite a long time, and Rufus the last couple years! Rufus likes to play with the other dogs, while Remy is more of an observer (however Rufus does get her to play with him every once in a while!). They are always next to eachother during the day and they both love to go on walks and get very excited when their pawrents come to pick them up :) Thanks for always making us smile guys!

Happy Halloween! We got our food shipment today and are fully stocked with our normal array of products. We also have some new food and treats for you to try! A new ANP flavor: pork with pumpkin and apples (comes in 4, 12, and 30 pound bags) as well as blueberry and pumpkin flavored ANP treats. We have free samples available for the food as well :) We hope everyone has a happy Halloween, and stay tuned for a 🎃spooky🎃 post!

DAYCARE OF THE WEEK!! Peanut is quite the personality. She is always making us laugh by making goofy faces and funny sounds while she's playing. She loves to sit on top of the bigger grooming table to watch all of the daycare dogs, and sometimes just to supervise us while we groom. We recently discovered that she loves blueberry treats too! She is very silly and is always finding new ways to make us smile. Thanks Peanut for being such a good girl and always knowing how to brighten our days :)
