Hi Folks, Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We are definitely looking forward to the new year.
Thank you to all our folks for love and support you've shown us in 2024. It definitely is going to be a year to remember! The list of dreams, goals and accomplishment that were attained is truly wonderful. I am thankful for each and every one of you. It is because of you that I love this journey!
Some of the things we have planned for 2025 are:
Orientation/Open House on Friday January 3rd from 6:30 to about 8:30 ish. For new folks joining our classes and for those that just may want to check us out to see what we have to offer through our classes. All are welcome!
NADAC Agility Trials in 2025:
May 10/11, 2025 - Karl Schulski judging
October 11/12 - Bernie Doyle judging
Entry forms will be on our website www.candyscanines.com or just e-mail me and I'll get one out to you.
Our Basic/Puppy Obedience class starts on January 10th 6:30PM
If you've had obedience already check out our Canine Fit class starting on January 5th 11AM - All levels 1,2 &3

Candy's Christmas 2024 was lots and lots of fun, wonderful folks, wonderful food(almost nothing was left over, that's how good it was!) Seeing so many people that are near and dear to me all in one place always amazes me. A huge thank you to Mary Ann, Crystal, Jooly, John, John, and Amy Jo for helping putting it all together and setting up and decorating to transform our little school into a beautiful dining hall. Lots of smiles, hugs, laughs and of edibles were had! Of course we had the grand daughters starting the annual Candy's snowball fight( being their happy elvish selves.) Ellen was there again with her angel, Sharon and Sharon's brother. Ellen hasn't missed a Christmas Party in 25 years!! She still never ceases to amaze us all. I also had the most wonderful visitors, people I have been hoping to meet to complete my story.To add to my 2010 newfound family, my new found sister(since just before Thanksgiving) Laura, husband Greg and son Liam came all the way up so we could meet for the very first time!!!! It's so nice to feel complete. I am looking forward to 2025 being a wonderful year!!
Thanks to each and every one of you that made 2024 unforgettable!

Our 25th Annual Candy's Christmas is in the books(details to come later) First I want to congratulate a number of our folks on geting some special Candy's/Fundog -made awards for 2024. It's been a memorable year to say the least, and these great folks have done some pretty amazing things!!
First up Dan & Lola, Bruce and Abby and Lori and Henry earned their NADAC Natch's this year, with Dan getting his 2nd one at Champs in Wyoming, in September!
Next up we gave out a first time award because I saw it fitting to recognize these Incredible Dogs this year, they have done things that they never thought they could and I am so proud of them. We have Nasa (the amazing Mastiff) and Crystal, Spooky Moss and her owner Kara, and Danny and his owner Jean. I think they will agree with me that it's been one hell of a fun and amazing ride!
And finally to conclude the presentation of awards, we were proud to give the Student of the Year Award to Bob Beller(pictured with
the other amazing Mastiff, Odin) Bob has really picked up the slack on Sundays for me when I decided to go on various adventures not to mention he has also taken over our website(if I had to do it my head would explode and possibly a computer being thrown out my window as I do not do technology well) AND is always there to come to the aide of those who get themselves in a bit of a jam, lol
(no names will be mentioned but we know who we are, lol). So join me in Congratulating these fine folks, it's going to be a tough act to follow in 2025!! Love you guys!

Happy Fall Everyone - Now that we are winding down to the end of the year here's just an update on the Basic/Puppy Obedience class that will be starting on January 10th, 2025( yep that seems a long way off). For those folks that may be interested, we will have an Orientation night on Friday January 3rd so you can see what it's all about, ask questions, etc. It will be at 6:30PM. It will be for the humans, pups will come the first night of class(Jan. 10th) You can also inquire about our other classes as well. We have something for everyone!

What a wonderful day at FIT class this morning. A group of amazing dogs and their people showed us what they can do!  And to top it all off our amazing Mastiffs, NASA and Odin both completed their AKC Novice AND Intermediate Trick titles this morning!

Congratulations to our new STAR puppy/ Basic Obedience graduates!This was a great group of pups. We loved having them !from left to right we have Ralphie then Ziggy. Axel and Sadie, Chloe and Coco. Looking forward to see what they will accomplish in the future. They have great start!

Oh my gosh! What a fun session the last 8 weeks! All these folks just nailed absolutely everything they learned ! Congratulations to Robin and Krush on earning their AKC Intermediate TrickTitle and Congratulations to our new Star Puppies and Basic Obedience folks and their pups! From left to right we have Tahoe Riley Harper and Kidd (Krush’s son)! You all did awesome! And it was a lot of fun for us too!! We are so proud of you!

Hi Folks, hope you all have enjoyed the summer, I know I have with swimming, adventuring, playing outdoors with the pups and grand daughters. School will be starting next week for the kids and so will our Basic/Puppy Obedience class! August 23rd at 6:30PM. Everyone might as well get back to school, right??? Come and join us, the class is a blast!!
