Stay n Train Spotlight
Ike joined us for two weeks of training and we had so much fun watching his family uncover his softer, less rambunctious side! There’s no more ripped pants, buttons or pummeling grandpa as he walks in from work! Ike’s been running on the treadmill in the morning, running errands with his dad to keep his skills in public fresh and getting structured play during his fetching games! So proud of his owners for committing to the work of keeping this active, young dog in a good space!

This is Charlie! Charlie stayed with D101 in our 3 Week Stay & Train. He came to us with nervous and anxious behavior, resource guarding and major pulling on the leash during walks. Charlie is now back home and thriving in his environment. He is getting more freedom in the yard and his 10 year old “brother” is now able to walk him too! Check out what Charlie’s mom had to say…
“Our 2 year old golden retriever was in serious need of training, bad habits had become too much for us to control and understand how to fix. We had issues with excessive barking, anxiety, resource guarding and just plain not listening to us. After research I decided to reach out to Doggieology 101. From the first of many phone calls with Carla and Melissa I knew this was the place that I could trust and see results with our beloved Charlie! We decided on the 3 week stay and train. I can’t believe how much we learn about Charlie and the dog psychology that taught us how to better communicate with our dog. We had hours of training a week and felt confident and prepared to continue what doggieology started at home. I’m happy to report after almost 2 weeks at home we have a better version of Charlie that we could only have dreamt of. He seems so very relaxed and very happy. We have been able to explore places like the pet store with no anxiety and full control of our dog in heel position. We went to the vet and he was not anxious at all. Best thing we have witnessed is that my 10 year old can walk Charlie now, something that he could never do because Charlie was a handful to control on even the shortest of walks. We are so grateful and blessed for the training and care Charlie received and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for training for their dog.”
