**Effective Immediately**

I will be removing a**l gland expression as a service beginning immediately.

With so much controversy around the issue, I did my own research. I spoke with several vets and they all agree that groomers should not be expressing glands. Here's why:
1. It often causes them to go flaccid
2. Groomers can miss things like infection or polyps
3. Risk of injury is high
4. Majority of dogs don't need it to begin with and if they have a genuine issue, it's not being solved every 6/8 weeks during a groom. Dogs fill and drain their glands daily so if your dog is going 6/8 weeks between expressions, they don't have a genuine issue.

Facts:
Not all dogs need their glands expressed. Most dogs will naturally express their glands when they defecate.
Some dogs will express their glands occasionally while others express more frequently.
If your dog is scooting or licking their bottom excessively, it may be a sign that they need their glands expressed.
If you are unsure whether your dog needs their glands expressed or not, it's always best to err on the side of caution and make an appointment with your vet.

TnT Everything Dogs is now offering bath and blow-dry services on Sundays! Beginning Sunday September 17th @ 9am!

Hi everyone,
I'm excited to announce that I'm now offering bath and blow-dry services on Sundays! This is a great way to keep your dog's coat clean and healthy in between grooms, and it's also a more affordable option for those who are on a budget.
The bath and blow-dry service includes:

A bath with shampoo and conditioner

A thorough brushing

A blow-dry to remove all the moisture

The cost is $25 per dog. I'm offering this service on Sundays, from 9am to 1pm as a walk-in only and will be prioritized as a first come first served basis. Limited spaces available so get here early,!
To keep this service running smoothly there will be no haircuts given on this day. Matted dogs will be turned away with an appointment for a future groom, if necessary. (remember, never bathe a dog with mats, as it will make the mats tighter and more uncomfortable for your dog)

So far the biggest dog I've groomed.... Or ever seen! 🐶 He was so awesome 😍💙Hugo

NO OWNER SHOULD EVER WONDER IF THEIR DOG IS OKAY AFTER DROPPING THEM OFF AT THE GROOMER! It's a sad world that we live in. Horror stories of dogs dying at the hands of their trusted groomers. No wonder why people hesitate, no wonder why they are skeptical. It is utterly heartbreaking to see. And believe me, when the owner is having these feelings, it almost always reflects to the dog as well. I can tell you until I'm blue in the face that your dog is ALWAYS loved and cared for while they are in my care but I understand if there are any doubts and I encourage you to pay attention to your dog as you're pulling in the driveway. Pay attention to how they act while walking up to my back door. Pay attention to their behavior when you pick them up. Don't get me wrong, most dogs really don't prefer to be bathed so they will test you by attempting to act as if they don't want to be at the groomers and of course they don't, (afterall, they really thought you were going to do something fun). I'm talking about the dog that you have to drag inside, or the dog who will not stop shaking uncontrollably, or the dog who will physically hurt themselves to get away. 😭 Stay tuned. Tomorrow I will be posting an idea that I've come up with to help ease some of the worry from owners.

💙Bruno! I've said it many times... Dogs don't normally LOVE taking baths but they will tolerate it.... I STAND CORRECTED! This guy has been coming to me since he was a puppy. The video is exactly how he came through the door today for his groom. He loves it here and we sure love him right back! We listen to Bruno Mars while he's here because that's what I've always called him. We've been through a lot together and his owner is very consistent with grooming (even when I make a mistake and go a little too short on his haircut ) Thank you for being patient with me Kim! 😂 See you in 5 weeks Bruno Mars!

William 😍 I've been grooming this handsome boy since the beginning. The first toy poodle I've ever groomed. It took me a few times before I got this groom down. The patience, communication, and understanding from the owner has been amazing and so appreciated. 💜 "William, are you ready to go home"...... 😂
