Handsome Rolls has been with me almost a year. He needs his forever home or a foster that will follow through on training. Rolls is 3-4 years old. He is 45 lbs and a pit mix.
He would do best in a home with no children or pets. He is a great boy who needs a strong leader. He is crate trained and house trained. He loves to go for walks and car rides. He will come with 3 private training lessons to keep him going in the right direction. If you're interested in adopting Rolls, you can contact Underdog Rescue or call me at 480-809-9247.
Bean has been in rescue for 2 years and 5 months. I don't understand! She is cute and sooo much fun! She loves life. She is 3 and a half years old. She is house trained, crate trained, she dabbles in agility (I'm definitely not an agility trainer) she loves to hike and play ball. She even knows how to climb ladders!
She needs to be an only pet, but she is not reactive to others when out walking. She knows place, sit, down, stay, settle, drop it. She has energy, but again, it is so much fun. She comes with private lessons to keep her training going. We even had her DNA done, and the new owner will get all the results.
She would do better with older children. Please consider her! If you are interested in adopting Bean, please request a pre-adoption questionnaire at [email protected]
Adoptable Bean. She has been in rescue for 2 over 2 years!!! She is adorable and sweet. She is athletic and smart. She comes this a ton of training, free private lessons, and training support for life. We also had her DNA done, and you will get those results, too!
She is basically a Staffie/Border collie mix. She is 3 years old. She lives to play ball. I am no agility trainer, but she loves the equipment. Bean must be an only pet and would do better with older children. She came to Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue over 2 years ago and has very seldom been looked at :( If you're interested in adopting Bean, please request a pre-adoption questionnaire at [email protected]

Little Brynn is walking short distances on leash. She is scared of everything, including human touch. She tolerates it, but she doesn't love it. Yet! Building leash skills will build trust. I can wait to see her trust, likely for the first time.
This is Ash. As you have seen, she is one of my in home training clients. Last time she was at the vet, she was losing her sh*t. I believe her behavior got worse. They couldn't sent the whole video.
They recognized their error on their own. Do you see the problem? I love that these owners are learning to be aware of their actions.
Unfortunately, her training has to be put on hold for a while as she blew out her ACL. But we will be back at it when she is all better.
This is Tilly back at home with her amazing owner! Tilly was found as a stray, and when no owner was found, she decided to keep her!
Tilly had absolutely no rules or boundaries. She was all over the place on a leash and had zero basic obedience. Look at them rocking it together! This, my friends, is why I love doing what I do :)
Teeders had a lot of stress to overcome. I'm pretty sure her previous home was a fairly high stress environment. Then, her previous owner took his own life. While she was there.
It's clear she didn't get out into the world much. Everything is new and scary. The first time she met my daughter, Teeders was extremely fear reactive. The second time was much better. This is only their third meeting.
Thanks for helping out for a bit, Courtney.!! Teeders is going to come out of this a much better dog. She really does love people!
This is what a down stay with distractions can look like. Perfect your skills at home, then venture out. If your dog can't do a down stay at home, it's never going to happen away from home.
Most of you know, but in case you don't, I pulled Dory from the euthanasia list at PCACC. No one could touch her much less, walk her on a leash. I knew I could help her. That was August 18th. Here we are, 6 months later. She has been in so many places with me. From events at Boyce Thompson Arboretum to Bass Pro Shop on non other than black Friday when it was utter chaos. She even walked in the Veterans Day Parade.
Dory is now my demo dog, my business partner, and one of my best friends.
Stay consistent. Your dreams of a great relationship with your dog are there. If you need help, please call 480-809-9247
