Adorable, adoptable Loki is available for adoption through Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue. This handsome guy is about a year and a half old. He is crate trained and house trained. He knows all basic obedience and walks good on a leash. He will go home with 3 private lessons to keep his training going in the right direction!
This goofy, fun boy loves to play ball and loves chewing on nylabones. He loves going for walks and rides great in the car! If you're interested in adopting Loki, please request a pre-adoption questionnaire at [email protected]
Harlee, the little dog trainer and Dory the once terrified of everything dog. Dory is excelling more than I could have imagined!!
Meet Ziggy! He is one of my in home training clients. In just one week, he went from trying to bite me when I would ask him to down to being much more complient. We still have work to do, but we have already stopped him from reacting at the front window. He is not reactive to things going on when out on a leash, and he is doing down stays with distractions. All this was accomplished in just a couple of sessions.
There is nothing I love more than a dog and its owner building a stronger bond through training!
Apollo and I are getting some practice in. Apollo was a board and train about a year ago. He comes to me for boarding and refreshers a few times a year. I adore this guy!
Beans obedience is just a little weak. We haven't practiced much since I was super busy with clients dogs. With that said, she has really good retention. She needs a home! She has been with Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue for two years!! She has been my training/foster dog for 1 year and 10 months! She has had a ton of training. She is adorable and sweet. She loves to hike and climb boulders. She loves car rides and walks at the park!
Bean would love a family of her own with no other pets and older children. She is crate trained and house trained. She will come with 3 private training lessons to keep the training going. If you are interested in adopting Bean please request a pre-adoption questionnaire at [email protected]

Loki came to me pretty unsocialized and insecure. Even now, when you ask him to sit or down, he wants to sit right on your feet and lean into you. Before, there was no way you were going to walk away from him.
Now, he is learning some independence. He was also super reactive with other dogs. When my neighbors dogs barked, he would rush the fence to retaliate. Now he can sit there and ignore it.
This guy is available for adoption through Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue. He is about 1.5 years old. He is the sweetest guy you will ever meet. He loves to be with his people. He must be an only dog. He will come with follow-up training to get his new family started in the right direction.

I started Dory on basic obedience tonight. We have worked and learned "place," but she typically auto downs on her place command, but i want her to down when she is asked. Once she knows it well, we will work on distance and duration. This girl is extremely smart.
I am not in a big rush with her. When I pulled her from animal control, I did so knowing I had as much time as I needed. It's been super busy for me the last few months, so she gets my time when I have a chance between client dogs.
Dory will be available for adoption once I am 100 percent comfortable her fear of people is gone. She is doing excellent with strangers, all things considered.
For those that don't know, Dory was due to be euthanized for lack of space. She was labeled as feral because she wouldn't allow anyone to touch her and had never been on a leash. Pinal County Animal Control does their very best to be as no kill as possible. But after a few months, Dory wasn't improving.
Please don't overlook the fearful dogs. This girl is smart as a whip and sweet as pie. I am so happy I was able to help her. She will soon be adoptable at Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue!
Check out this hunk of love! Loki is a cool dude. He is here with me for board and train and will be available for adoption once training is done. Loki is a happy guy that loves to play ball. He is about a year and a half old and both house trained and crate trained.
He is a super sweet dog that loves being with his humans. He needs to be the only pet. If you're interested in adopting Loki, please request a pre-adoption questionnaire at [email protected].
Loki has been extremely leash reactive with other dogs. We still have a little work to do, but this is a huge improvement!
Guess who went on an indoor outing with me? Yes, Dory! Yes, I used 2 leashes again. I did not know how comfortable she would be. Leashes and/or collars can fail. It's better to have a backup just in case. But she didn't need it, she did excellent and even took treats from employees!
Dory met and had some fun with my daughter tonight.
Loki is about a year and a half old. He is sweet as pie. He came to me as an extremely insecure guy. He would literally sit on your feet and push himself into your legs. Taking even a step away from him and he would attach himself to you.
He is learning some independence and we will work through his severe leash reactivity. Once Loki has completed training he will be available for adoption through Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue. If you're interested in adopting Loki, please request a pre-adoption questionnaire at [email protected]
Rueger did a great job of holding his place command even when his mama showed up to pick him up. He thought about breaking command, but he didn't. Great work, dude!!
This is the first time she has played with me in the house and the first time that she has barked and not howled lol. All of these beautiful steps forward. In 4 weeks, she has turned from feral to fabulous! She has learned that a leash won't kill her. That human touch is kind. She has learned that walks in the park are fun and so are rides in the car.
She loves playing with toys and relaxing on a couch. There was no way to get her this far with all love and treats. Slip collars and e collars are not the enemy. These tools have helped her overcome her fear. Fearful dogs can totally benefit from these tools... the proof is in the pudding!
