We are often asked if the dog is good with children?! But the real question is…
ARE YOUR CHILDREN GOOD WITH DOGS??

From an early age, as a parent, you can start to teach your young child the best way to interact with animals. This can include telling them to pet animals gently. And that riding, hitting, and pulling an animal’s tail is not going to be tolerated.

It is important to teach kids never to approach any animal, even your own, when it is eating, sleeping, chewing on a toy, or caring for its young.

It helps to show the child an example of “gentle petting” by petting the animal yourself.

If you're using internal flea and tick prevention, this is good to keep an eye on. I've been on my soapbox for quite a while in regards to these chemicals being introduced into pets' bloodstreams.

Many of you may use these products without any negative effects, but we like to share relevant information in regards to pet health.

Hey friends… again not one of mine but I just learned of a male Great Dane in a local shelter. If anyone is interested. I do not know all the details. He is older and special needs. But this baby deserves a forever home. He is at Willows Wings Animal Sanctuary which I believe is in Endicott.
