Check out our service dogs in-training! Brody (formerly John) and Quinn (formerly Lourdes) are still in their first year of training to be of service to Veterans. These sweet doods will be trained for a specific veteran once they’re ready! We are so proud to have not one, but TWO of our puppies in the training program!

Our partner trainer, was able to meet up with Warrior Freedom to get some FaceTime in with Brody and Quinn!

What an amazing journey!! John and Quinn (formerly Lourdes) are continuing to do well in their service training program! So lucky to have found this organization through Blue Bridge Dog Training and excited to continue watching and celebrating these two sweet babies from afar!!

We love hearing about our puppies and the PAWESOME lives they’re living!

From Quinn’s (formerly Lourdes’) training host family: “Quinn is still doing well. In addition to our daily routines, she's being exposed to a variety of new places and situations. Last week we took her to an assisted living facility with some Warrior Freedom people to spread the word of the Warrior mission. She was a hit with the residents. She also enjoyed our warm weather with us out on a restaurant patio and did well. She had her 5 month birthday last week and is getting big!! Here she is at the restaurant and the assisted living.”

Looking forward to see her continued growth and development! Great work, Quinn!!

A little mother daughter bonding time! We are watching Nebula while her guardian family is off doing awesome things like ELOPING IN HAWAII!!

I know they miss her terribly, but she is so well loved and busy here at the CBB HQ! Don’t worry, we are taking good care of her!

Nebula is getting out and about today!! Football, basketball and soccer games.

But of course, ALL FOUR OFF THE FLOOR! Until we are fully vaccinated, we will socialize from the sling 😎.

Comic Book Bernedoodles is officially on the hunt for our very own Guardians of the Galaxy! Some programs utilize guardian families to ensure their parent dogs are given the love, attention, exercise and socialization they need - without being in a house with 3+ dogs! Our program is small and we are going to take time to grow a strong pack built on Gamora’s foundation.

If you’re interested in adding Nebula to your family (and local to Raleigh) let’s chat. Our families are thoroughly vetted, including a home site visit.

Keep in mind, all of our parent dogs are DNA and health tested - this is no different for our guardian family dogs. We will partner with our Guardians to ensure she makes it to all of her appointments/testing and may even whelp together!

Once Nebula passes her testing and whelps all of her puppies over the years, she will retire - with her very own Guardians of her Galaxy.

Lourdes had a family come through the other night, but it just wasn’t the right timing for them! That means she’s still available and ready to go to the perfect humans!

She’s already gotten her go-home bath and blow out! 9 weeks old on Monday, 40-50 lbs at maturity!

This is our last sweet girl!! We’ve decided to retire Gamora and this girl is the only one still available from her litter of 14!

So amazed at how these puppies turned out and how they are already healing hearts in their new homes!!

Lourdes will do the same when she meets her forever family!!

Pick day is rapidly approaching. I am so excited and thankful for our newest CBB families! We have a little bit of time left with these babies and are looking for a few more families to join our community!

Our medium bernedoodles will be 40-50 lbs at maturity, are raised with real life in mind and are taught that people are kind and dogs are friendly!

On the fence about bringing a puppy home?

When puppies mush!! We started our transition last week into (ground) kibble. This will help Gamora start the weaning process and get the puppies adjusted to using those little teeth they have popping in.

Side note, we are getting really good at potting in the right place!!

Our girls are 4 weeks old, officially!

We just finished a week full of noise exposure, they heard Spanish music, rock, lullabies, white noise and more. In addition, we started introducing things into their pen like oranges, balls, and rolled up towels! While these things seem insignificant to us, they are a big part of learning and growing for our puppies and it helps them be ready to take on the world. They’ve also started puppy mush - obviously, they love it!!
