Ref is a happy, independent boy who does a good job entertaining himself but also loves romping with his siblings and foster brothers. Ref loves being in the very top of the cat tower, chasing balls, and watching the world go by from a good window.
Ref is too busy right now to be labeled a 'lap cat' but he is very friendly & engaging & loves to give his humans a kiss before he's off on an adventure.

According to his foster Dad, Chief is 'the sweetest kitty in the world.' He loves to play but is also a champion lap kitty. Chief gets along great with other kitties but would also do well as an only cat as long as his humans give him plenty of attention!

Hi, I’m Kalahari! I’m a tortoiseshell kitty who's as beautiful as the desert I’m named for. I have expressive, soulful eyes, an adorable orange bikini, and a solo white whisker mixed in with all the black ones. I was a bit shy at first, but after getting comfortable in my foster home, I’ve blossomed into an affectionate kitty who will go out of my way to seek out attention. I may need a little time to get acclimated to a new environment but will come out of my shell quickly! I’m super playful and energetic and love attention from my foster humans. I have a grand time romping with both my much younger foster friends as well as the resident cats in my foster home. I love to play and will go crazy when you pull out any wand toy! I also enjoy tunnels, spring toys, and climbing up to the top of my cat tree.

Despite being deaf (as are 65-85% of pure white cats with blue eyes), I communicate with plenty of hearty meows and robust purrs. I love human attention and immediately start purring as soon as I’m picked up. I have a playful spirit and love chasing and batting around balls. You’ll no doubt be entertained by my game of “hide-and-seek blanket ambush”— I hide a toy in a blanket and then attack it, rumpling my bed in the process! Even though I haven’t had much interaction with other cats in my foster home yet, my youth and amiable nature suggest I’ll be a social and playful companion with proper introductions. Do you know about our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program?
Our FTA program is designed for adult cats like Monkey (also known as Maxie) who may have a harder time getting adopted. Some cats come into our adoption program as adults and have never been to an adoption event before. Even a relatively calm event can be scary and confusing for them. Many adult cats simply don't show their true selves well in busy adoption events, and some of the sweetest cats might growl, hiss, or feel scared and overwhelmed with all the noise and commotion.

My official Alley Cats & Angels name is Monkey, but please call me Maxie! Adopted as a kitten in 2013, due to a change in my adopter’s situation I’ve been welcomed back to Alley Cats and Angels so they can help me find my new forever home. I’m a gentle, laid-back girl who doesn’t like loud noises. I get along well with other adult cats in my foster home and enjoy running around the house with them. I also like hiding under the bed covers when it’s time for a nap. I will alert my foster mom when I need to be fed and I especially enjoy treats. I like to sit by my foster mom and get chin scratches while she works on her computer. I also welcome belly rubs and will make lots of biscuits to show you how much I love the attention!

Meow there! It's me, Cottontail, here to remind you of something very important as Easter hops closer. Did you know that lilies, those lovely flowers that bloom around this time of year, can be very dangerous for us feline friends?
🌸 While lilies might seem harmless and beautiful to you, they are actually toxic to cats like me. Even just a nibble or a brush against the pollen can spell disaster for our health. From upset tummies to severe kidney problems, lilies can be downright deadly for us curious kitties.
🚫 So, if you're decorating your home for Easter or giving flowers as gifts, please make sure there are no lilies around if you have a furry friend like me. Instead, opt for pet-friendly blooms like roses or orchids.

Brisket is the total package! 💕 Hi, I’m Brisket (Est. DOB: August 3, 2023) - no matter how you slice it, according to me and my foster human I'm just about the bestest kitten ever! When rescued I was shy - not mean or hissy, but the whole new indoor life just took a little getting used to. It didn’t take me long, though, to appreciate 3 (or 4 or 5) meals a day, fresh water, and lots of loving care. Now I'm a talkative and loving fellow who wants to stretch out between my human and his laptop (luckily my human doesn’t mind the help!). Kevin is an adorable classic (or swirly) tabby with a sweet round face. He has a wonderfully silly way about him that you just can’t help but find endearing. He loves all kinds of toys, especially ones he can run around with his mouth and pretend he has been out hunting. He is incredibly social and loves his foster humans. He will follow you around the house and help you with things like folding laundry and knitting a scarf. He also loves to snuggle up with you for a nap. Kevin has a great time playing & wrestling with his litter mates and also gets along great with the adult cats in his foster home. He would do best with a cat or dog buddy as he likes a lot of attention.
