Central Iowa Exchange
For those of you who don't know, I purchased the sale barn and have run it since December 2014. I grew up in sale barns and owning one has always been a dream. I bought the old barn in 2014 and made continual updates to it. I was very proud of the old sale barn and proud to keep a historical building up and going. Fate had other plans, and in August of 2017 the old barn sadly burned. I was not ready to have my dream of owning a sale barn taken from me and new poles for the barn were going up in December of 2017. We had our first sale in the new sale barn April 2018. So its not the same historical building I bought but it is still a great sale barn with great people, and so my dream continues. I not only do tack and horse auctions monthly, there are also all animal auctions and household consignment auctions. Along with the ever popular Facebook online auctions.
