These 2 adorable boys are looking for loving families to give them their forever homes.
They are approximately 13 weeks old and will have their first set of vaccines along with testing for feline leukemia and FIV done prior to adoption.

The Companion Animal Parasite Council has a map that is updated monthly to show how many new cases of certain parasitic infection and certain diseases were found in the country, mostly through routine screenings.
Looking at how often these problems are found in our area is a great reminder to keep your pets on monthly parasite prevention.
Take a look at the map and remember to give your fur babies their meds every month!

New hours start this week at the Apopka Vet Clinic office.
We will be closed for lunch from 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fridays hours are changing as well. New Friday hours are 8:00am to 12:00pm.
The hours for the Bear Lake office are not changing.

Beginning March 1st, our office will have new hours.
We will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Friday hours will be changing to 8:00am to Noon.
The office will closed for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00pm to 1:30pm.
Hours for our Bear Lake Vet office will remain unchanged.

Save This Life microchip company has closed abruptly, leaving many pets with unregistered microchips.
If your pet was microchipped at our offices, it was done using a HomeAgain chip, so there is no need reregister your information.
If your pet was implanted with a Save This Life chip, that registration information is no longer active and you will need to reregister your contact information.
There are multiple options for where to register, some will have registration fees, some are free.

Cases of bird flu are spreading in the US. Our feline friends are the more susceptible to it than other mammals.
To help prevent the spread, it is advised to not feed your pets a raw diet or offer raw milk. Preventing contact with wild birds if also very important.
If you care for backyard chickens or interact with wild birds, it is recommended that you change clothes and disinfect before interacting with your cats.
