They think when you take a break it’s because you’re broken from the past when really you’re just preparing for the future. Being patient now will expedite your future success. National Horse Day was over a week ago but I was too busy working with ‘em to celebrate. Through adversity and blessings alike, almost every horse I’ve had the pleasure of putting hands on/working with this year. From breeding to training, riding lessons, buying/selling, trading and farrier work. Still playing catch up but as long as I’m moving forward I’m making progress.

Naturally gaited, been bred only once (to my knowledge). Stands for bath, loads, intermediate rider best suited. She's a sweetheart but has a motor when warmed up. She stands at about 15h even.

The road less traveled feels a lot like a roller coaster. Full of unexpected twists and turns, up’s and down’s, anxiously awaiting what comes next. The difference is when you’re on a roller coaster you aren’t alone. You see and feel everyone else around you. On the road less traveled you look around and see no one. At first it’s uncomfortable, this eerie quietness. But as you keep driving you start to see, your eyes begin to open and you see the beauty of it. And then it hits you… You finally realize that you aren’t alone. And if you’re like me, when He blesses you with a break from all the twists and turns, it makes you stop and appreciate the straight and narrow. 🙏
