I collect glass ornaments and I try to get AT LEAST one special ornament per year to add to our eclectic combo of Christmas tree ornaments. This year’s is one I gladly found on sale… the mustang. ❤️ I think it sums up something near and dear to our hearts as well as something that will be a big part of our 2026. Long live America’s treasure, the wild mustang.

Scared, nice, walks on leash. Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull on 11/1/25; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian. Nestor needs our help still. Named after the movie where the long eared donkey Nestor carries Mary to Bethlehem and represents kindness (which he needs so much of) and helping others during the holidays. That is what we are here for, to help others, no matter the species.

Nestor was supposed to ship to Mexico for sl@ughter the day after the Bowie auction, but our friend had bonded with him, and when I heard about him, I knew we had to step in and keep this sweet, sad boy with tears streaming down his eyes, standing away from the others in a corner, from going to the bad place. We are so close to finishing his fundr@iser, please consider a tax-deductible d0nation only if you are able. Gifts big and small help them so much.

This goal provides us help with pur(hase pric€, vet costs, quarantine, transport to and from quarantine, feed, supplements, farrier care, etc.

Two sweet shepherd mix pups need a forever home fast. They would do best in separate homes. Sumo the short hair, and Harry Larry, the long hair, were both pulled from Devore right before they were euth@nized. Now they are about 6-7 months old, are kennel trained and being potty and house trained, have been neutered and vaccinated and are ready to go to the best home ever! They both deserve so much!

Please share and let me know if you would love to adopt an amazing boy who will bring you so much joy! We need to find them homes ASAP… please message me if you can help, anywhere in the United States or even Canada!
