💔 Remembering Sweet Sadie 💔

For 12 years, Dog Day Getaway had the absolute honor of caring for one of the spunkiest, sassiest, and most snack-motivated pups to ever strut through our doors — the legendary Sadie Ferg.

Sadie was the definition of tiny but mighty — a little puggle with a big attitude and an even bigger heart. She had a knack for stealing treats, attention, and hearts wherever she went. Whether she was snuggling up with her doggie pals (especially fellow puggles and pugs) or charming her favorite humans into an extra snack, Sadie did it all with style.

Her memory lives on in infamy among every staff member who had the pleasure of knowing her — past and present. It won’t be the same without that little spitfire running the show.

Rest easy, sweet Sadie Ferg. You may have been small, but you’ve left a massive paw print on all of our hearts. 💕

Sending all our love and condolences to Sadie’s family. She will be so deeply missed.

This well mannered boy enjoys saying hello to all the staff in the morning and evening, playing with a very specific set of doodle and husky friends - and can mostly be seen lounging under near the large castle 🏰 (he’s the guard)

We hope you had a fun time today! 🧸♥️

We often talk about special dogs we care for but don’t talk enough about their amazing owners & the kindness we get from them. We said an unexpected goodbye to Remmy in September. It was a really hard day & many staff felt it deeply.

Remmy’s owner generously & thoughtfully delivered us the sweetest treats & a heart felt note that left us all in tears.

Thank you for sharing Remmy with us & taking time out of your own grief to think of us. We are so happy our shared memories help bring comfort.
