💝 Bring 20 dog treats or toys to share and drop them off at DDG between 2/5–2/12.

🐶 Your dog must be present on Friday, 2/13 (no ghosting allowed) to join the fun.

Sixteen years is a lifetime — and for us, Shiloh was part of the heart of Dog Day Getaway for nearly all of it. 💔

Shiloh was one of our true & last OGs. One of the dogs that helped build this place into what it is today. Sweet, gentle, and quietly content just being near her people.

She loved being outside — soaking up the sunshine on warm days or bravely enjoying the cooler temps, often bundled up in a sweater. In her later years, she spent a lot of time hanging out with staff in the kitchen, supervising, resting, and reminding us all what a life full of love looks like when it’s lived all the way through.

Shiloh’s legacy here goes even deeper. We’ve had the privilege of adding someone from her family to the DDG family. Aliyah, who quite literally grew up with DDG and Shiloh, and has now been part of our team for over three years. That kind of history is rare, and it means more than words can say.

Shiloh wasn’t just a dog we cared for — she was family. And she always will be.

We are sending so much love to her entire family during this heartbreaking time. Thank you for trusting us with her for 16 incredible years. Rest easy, sweet old girl. You were deeply loved. 🐾💗
