Being in a cart isn't going to stop Bella from getting pets! :)

A spoonful of cheese helps the vaccine go down
We're all about positive reinforcement and distraction when it comes to working with our patients. Pretty sure Rackz didn't even realize he was getting a vaccine- he was too busy enjoying the cheese!

Cheesy Pug nail trim!
We have to hold our patients sometimes, but when we can use some simple distractions to get the job done, it's a win-win! Pretty sure Lily didn't even realize her nails were getting done thanks to Squeeze Cheese :)

Ear Mites!!
Follow-up to our Monday post- They're ear mites! This slide was especially exciting (for us veterinary nerds) because it has all the life stages. There's even a mating pair on the right (maybe I should have put a #NSFW)
This kitty will be feeling much better once the meds take care of these buggers!

Mystery bugs
Guess the parasite!
Hint: these guys are microscopic and can make the affected area very itchy. Worms aren't the only parasite we see! The adult stage has 8 legs and can be passed from pet to pet.

A lot of good guesses from our post the other day! Those strange squawks came from Espie, the French bulldog! She demanded attention and cuddles at all times during her stay with us :)

We get some interesting noises around here. :) Can anyone guess the breed making these sounds?
We'll reveal the rest of the video later this week!
We've been seeing all kinds of creepy crawlies lately! This poor little kitten was found as a stray by one of our clients last month and he was covered in scabs and missing hair. Can you guess what Dr Gen found when examining his skin sample under the microscope?
