Anyone may submit an application to adopt, foster, or rescue an animal from our Municipal Shelter at [email protected]. Our primary goal is the placement of adoptable pets into a permanent loving home when they cannot be reunited with their owners.

Partnering with rescue organizations is with the intent to provide our shelter animals; (1) Alternate housing while awaiting a permanent loving home; (2) Time to heal from injury or illness before adoption and/or; (3) Receive needed behavior modification to make the animal adoptable. Our shelter was recently contacted by local residents regarding interest in seeing our previously released posts again. While our shelter is limited on resources, we would like to bring this back for our residents and Rescue Partners. Do you recognize these puppies? Freezing and stuffed in a crate only large enough for a small chihuahua, these 10 puppies were found stacked on top of each other; dumped around 12:00 am 02/14/25-02/15/25 at a local park in the Town limits of Apple Valley, Ca. These 10 puppies will likely need immediate Rescue assistance. Any current rescue partners or rescues interested in partnering with our facility are encouraged to contact us at [email protected] or call us at (760) 240-7000 ext. 7519 to coordinate rescue pull.

RESCUED 02/21/25 Big Love Animal Rescue UPDATE: 02/20/25 PENDING RESCUE Freezing and dumped in a playpen around 3:00 am 02/15/25 at a local fire station in the Town limits of Apple Valley, Ca. These 8 puppies are estimated to be about 4 weeks old and will need Rescue assistance. During the warmer months (aka kitten season) urban areas are more likely to see outbreaks of FB as cats are more likely to come in contact with other cats. Please also think about vaccinating your cats.
