Meet Tessa! 🖤 This beautiful Dalmatian mix is spending the week with us to rebuild her confidence after so much change. With her high prey drive, she wasn’t a fit for her previous home and became a bit unsure around other dogs. We’re working on slow, intentional introductions to help her learn how to play in a healthy, positive way.

A huge thank you to Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. for trusting us with Tessa as we use all of our tools and knowledge to help her become the best version of herself. Our goal is to send her off as a confident, happy dog ready to thrive in her forever home! 🐾 This is why we limit daycare to 5 dogs — to give pups like Tessa the space to grow without feeling overwhelmed.

Arty the shepherd mix and Ranger the vizsla are back at it again! The last time these two played together, Ranger was just 5 months old. 💛 We’re so grateful for our long-term clients and the chance to watch their pups grow through the years. 🐾

Sharing this helpful reminder for Thanksgiving—make sure to keep your pups safe! Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Pet safety tips!

Guests
- Make sure your guests are careful when opening the door. It’s a good idea to make sure your pets are wearing their collars with an identification tag.
- Remind your guests not to feed your pets from the table. Instead, have treats on hand, so guests can give treats instead of human food.
Be Safe
-If your dog seems uncomfortable with a lot of people around, be sure to move him/her to a more comfortable space/environment.
- Keep your pets away from floral arrangements, potpourri, candles, and other potential dangers.
- Once dinner is over be sure to empty the trash as those turkey carcasses and scraps are very tempting to a pet.

While your pets are a part of your family, the Thanksgiving meal can present a number of dangers. Please be mindful of what your pets are allowed to eat.

Meet Bolt! 🐾 This sweet boy is a recent surrender through Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. that is boarding with us for a couple days. Despite his rough past and undergoing surgery at such a young age, Bolt’s confidence and energy are as strong as ever. He’s full of life and ready to find his forever home, where he can continue to thrive!

If you’d like to help with Bolt’s surgery costs, donations can be made to Our Pack Animal Rescue. Every little bit helps in providing him with the care he deserves! 🐶💙

Did you know: 🤔

If you have a pacemaker, you can put it in your Will to have your pacemaker donated to a dog in need after you pass. Pacemakers cannot be donated to another human, but they can be donated to dogs with cardiac issues who would depend on it to stay alive.

You can have the pacemaker brought to a vet of your choice. So many of those get thrown away and dogs die because people don't know they can do this. It even saves the dog's owner the cost of the actual pacemaker which sometimes means the difference in being able to afford lifesaving treatment or not ♥️
