Want to show off your pumpkin carving skills? Enter our pumpkin carving competition at Fall Fest on Saturday, October 14! 🎃

Here's how it works:
🎃 Bring your carved pumpkin to Houdini Plaza between 9:30 - 10 a.m. to be entered
🎃 There are two age groups: 15 years old and younger and 16 years old and older.
🎃 Each category will have 3 winners! The younger age group winners will each receive a gift basket from Crazy Sweet. The older age group winners will each receive Downtown Appleton gift certificates that you can use at almost any business Downtown! (1st place - $100, 2nd and 3rd place - $25)
🎃 Not into pumpkin carving? Vote for your favorites during the event from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., anyone is allowed to vote!

BUS/VALLEY TRANSIT
Valley Transit’s special $0.25 fares are good on all Valley Transit bus routes and from special Park & Ride locations on Saturday, September 30th, during Appleton’s Octoberfest from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Octoberfest Park & Ride lots on Saturday
- Appleton East HS is located on Route 19 (Schaefer St.)
- Fox Valley Technical College is located on Route 12
- Goodwill (Appleton Rd.) is located on Routes 1 & 30

UBER, LYFT, & CAB ZONE
Catch a cab, taxi, Uber and Lyft on the north side of Washington Street from Oneida Street west to Superior.

Shuttle from Kimberly and West Appleton - Tanner’s Grill & Bar will offer a continuous shuttle on Saturday during Octoberfest from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from both Tanners locations. Last departure from downtown is 6:30. Drop off downtown will be on Washington Street near the Uber/Lyft station.

ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS

DESIGNATED DRIVER PROGRAM
Complimentary Bud Zero will be available to anyone who chooses to be a designated driver on Saturday, Sept. 30. Designated drivers must be at least 21 years of age and purchase a designated driver wristband for $3 at any wristband booth. Bud Zero will be available at all beer stands.

Grab your Farm Market besties and head to Downtown Appleton this Saturday, July 8, 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for the Farm Market! Visit 100+ local vendors along College Avenue selling locally grown produce, handcrafted items, baked goods, flowers, hot food, coffee, meats and cheese, and so more. If you are attending, please note the special announcement regarding traffic that will be coming through the Farm Market.

Starting this Saturday, July 8th, Morrison Street through College Avenue will be open to thru traffic during the Farm Market. This section must be open because it is the only access point for people to get to the YMCA due to other construction around the area. Please be cautious and follow the traffic signals as you would when the street is open. There will be special signage, extra barricades and Community Service Officers from Appleton Police Department (APD) to help visitors and vendors navigate this change. We are working closely with the Appleton City Hall and APD to ensure the safety of anyone who attends the Farm Market. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
