Cat Hoarding Situation

๐บWe are coming to all of you, as our community, with a plea for help.๐บ
In the past two weeks we have been engaged in two separate hoarding situations, which has depleted all of our resources.
Despite our best efforts, we have only scratched the surface of this crisis. We have rescued numerous cats, and are actively working to get the rest into our care. Our estimated costs to provide the necessary care for these animals exceed $60,000, a daunting figure that weighs heavily on our minds.
Fox Valley Humane is a private locally managed non-profit, this means we do not receive help through tax dollars, and no state or national funding. Our ability to assist with these situations relies heavily on the crowdfunding we are able to accomplish.
๐บDONATIONS: Your financial support is crucial to help us provide necessary care for these previous animals. Every dollar counts!
๐บFOSTER: Getting more cats out of the building will help us be able to take more in. We specifically have a need for ringworm fosters.
We will be carefully monitoring commenting on this post. We are looking to share this video to bring awareness to the situation. We ask that everyone be respectful and kind when it comes to the individual that found themselves in this situation. A few cats can quickly become more, and most people that find themselves with too many cats to care for are animal lovers and simply unsure of where to turn to for help.

๐โโฌ Is currently being treated for demodex mites, so his coat currently is a little worse for wear! We kind of think of it looking like a beloved childhood stuffed toy.
