Misty has come a long way in 3 years. It’s been a wild ride but man we are so proud of her progress! She’s a huge reason I really try and open my mind to new ways of shoeing and I’m thankful I have her and her owner behind me as we tried to find set ups that best helped her. She’s now in Octo’s from EasyCare and does well ❤️

Little less than a year and I’d like to think Lyric is looking much better. Went to the Octo’s this go around and they look and fit nicely!

It was a different shoe for every horse day 😂 thank gosh EasyCare has options now! We tried the new Stealths which were different but so nice! Then the usual Octos and Speed Metals to end the day 🙂

Woo! It’s been a HARD year for my family. I officially have my truck back! I am so sorry to those that I had to downsize and what not. Here’s to getting back to it and helping horses 🙏🏻🙂

Good afternoon. Unfortunately we are down to 1 vehicle and I am having to refer clients to others for the time being. Those in a 35 minute radius will be fine I can manage but those further I just can’t right now. I am so sorry between this, and my children being sick I am struggling and I am desperately trying to keep my clients happy along with my family. 😩

Good morning! I am once again down a truck. While I do have a backup I am once again falling behind and struggling especially with those clients who are an hour + away. I’m to the point that I can no longer travel an hour + and justify it unfortunately. I apologize to those this effects right now but I’m having to make some tough choices 😞

Good afternoon! Due to certain circumstances I wanted to let my clients know that I will be bringing my boys to work with me for the time being. My oldest starts school in a few weeks so most of the time it’ll just be my youngest here and there. I know most of you don’t mind in the slightest but I just wanted to put it out there! Thank you for understanding 🙂

Speeds once again! I’m really liking these as they’re much easier to glue than the Versa’s in my opinion! Less holes is proving to work great for me and my clients!

Perfectly said for those with sensitive to grass horses!

A simplified diagram of grass sugars. Basically, your safest grazing time for sensitive horses is going to be 6 am to 10 am. Or if you can pull it off (calling all night owls.....), if you want to do 12 on and 12 off, midnight turnout to noon the next day is the lowest half of the day. NOT noon to midnight or sunset to sunrise. Those are the HIGHEST sugar content hours, not lowest.

AFTERNOON TURNOUT IS THE WORST TIME OF DAY FOR IR AND SENSITIVE HORSES ON GRASS. A lot of misinformation is out there saying sunset is best. IT'S NOT. Sunrise is best.

And remember, blazing sun makes more sugar, cloudy and rainy days make less. AND..... low night time temps right now stress grasses and spike sugar levels as well. Be safe. *Sensitive horses should not have grass right now until temps stay higher over 50°. *

Tried out the new speeds Monday! Really thinking about keeping these in my truck! I really liked them!
