We will be in Arab tomorrow afternoon at 5:30. Please submit orders by noon tomorrow. You can PM the page, or text your order to 256 550 1971. We have crickets, superworms, mealworms, and rats. Mice are limited availability for now. That will change in the near future so please be patient.

For future updates you will need to be following the page as we will limit our order information post to our actual page rather than sharing it in groups. Simply to avoid confusion.

Order deadline is tomorrow at 12 for delivery to Arab on Sunday 8/20 at 5:30! ORDERS MUST BE SENT BY TEXT OR PM TO PET SAFARI.

We hate making this post but the time has come to do so. We are closing the store. We have enjoyed serving Arab for the past year. We have had several new business opportunities arise that we simply cannot pass up. We were planning to maintain both however, a good friend of ours has had a serious health scare. He and his family are going to need our help on weekends. We simply cannot do everything and so it’s the store that has to fall to the side. For those of you that are interested we will be keeping all our feeder accounts. We will still be able to provide live & frozen rats & mice, crickets, superworms, mealworms, roaches, etc. there will be more info on arranging meet up locations/times to get feeders to those do you who still want/need them. We will be packing things up this week and will be in & out as our lease expires.

These sweet babies will be available for adoption tomorrow at the store. Stop in to meet them, share their photos with friends who might be looking for to give a forever to a rescue pup!!

* to be clear, we do not know breeds. Mom was a stray that showed up pregnant. We have absolutely no idea as to what breed/breeds these babies are. Mom is under 30lbs so we anticipate smaller breed mixes. Her photo is in the comments.

Hey guys, we are hosting an adoption event tomorrow!! A sweet little stray wandered up to the home of a friend. She kept momma & quickly realized she was expecting. Her and her children still kept her and are taking great care of her. As y’all know that means taking on the expenses of not only another dog but all of these sweet little babies that were born. There are 7 babies looking for a family. They are 6 weeks old, have been seen by the vet, dewormed, and had their first puppy shot! If there is one in particular you are already in love with message us to inquire otherwise please come see them tomorrow to find your new furry friend!! We are looking for permanent homes for these sweet little ones. There is an adoption fee to help recoup some of the money spent on vet bills as this was not their financial responsibility. Please share as well!

Our last baby cockatiel is lonely without siblings! We do not have DNA to know if this is male or female but he/she is ready to go home to a new family!! Still lots of bonding time left to make him/her your new best friend!! 😍🤩

Parakeets, hornworms, and African claw frog have finally made it back to the shop!! 😍😍 the horn worms are really small so give them a few days if you need larger ones! :)

Did you know Gerbils are sometimes referred to as “desert rats”?!? That their coats protect them for getting sunburnt in their a natural desert environment (deserts in Africa, India, Asia) They use sand to clean their fur and it is adorable to watch them take a sand bath! Gerbils are omnivores, come in a variety of FOURTY different coat colors although they are not all available in the pet trade. They are also highly trainable!! They can be litter trained and learn tricks! 😍🤩 We have a few sweet little girls looking for a family to call their own!

Good morning, I wanted to apologize for having to suddenly close yesterday. I had a horrible migraine that had me completely debilitated. My husband had to drive me and the kids home. Thankfully he was able to stay home with the little ones while I was stuck in bed. I know it was an inconvenience for some that stopped by and for that we are truly apologetic!! We didn’t have anyone that could cover for us on such last minute notice yesterday. Again we are sorry and hope you’ll stop by today! I’m feeling much better and will be there.

We have cockatiels! 3 hand feeding babies and a DNA sexed breeding pair.

We also got in some beautiful bettas and a couple of sweet gerbils.

We received a large order yesterday & it is all on the shelves! We were able to get some of the larger rapid sense tank decor pieces, restocked all of our light & heat bulbs, restocked some more reptile bedding & fake plants. We were also able to restock all of our fish chemicals, get several colors of gravel, and add some new air pumps, air stones, and other fish items.

Just sharing because this little dude is awesome!!

Granular, slope snouted and white spotted glass frogs, which, thanks to their nocturnal habits and translucent skin (featured here), are quite photogenic at night. But, given that most are only a few centimetres in length, they’re hard to find. It’s also worth noting that unlike a tree frog, whose eyes are on the side of its head, glass frogs have forward facing eyes. Many species of glass frog, like the granular, are endangered.
