My last dog of the day. It was just rescued by hopefully it's forever home. The previous owner neglected this poor pup so much it was matted to the skin from head to tail such took me several hours to clean it up but what a patient sweet pup. I forgot to grab a finished picture 🥴

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ AND CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT.

I've had my business open for a handful of weeks now at our new location here in Arab Alabama. The amount of appointments that people have either not been there for because they forgot or canceled within a couple hours of the appointment is astronomically high. I have ran this very business for many years and this is not normal

I make my living by going to people's homes and grooming their dogs. I scheduled accordingly based on average time it takes me to groom the dog and drive time to get from one client's house to the next. If I drive to a client's house and the client is not there I can't always shift my other clients around as they often have booked weeks in advance and have their own schedules and I am out the gas and time including any kind of a wage and driving all over the countryside for them to be like oops I forgot or not even be there.

MY CLIENTS EXPECT ME TO DRIVE TO THEIR LOCATION SHOW UP AND BE ON TIME, TO GIVE THEIR DOGS THE BEST GROOMING EXPERIENCE, CARE AND RESPECT WHILE MAKING THEIR DOGS AS COMFORTABLE AS I CAN. And frankly won't tolerate anything less than.

I ONLY EXPECT THAT MY CLIENT WILL BE THERE, THAT THEIR DOG WILL BE IN THE CONDITION THAT THEY DESCRIBE, I DO THE BEST THAT I CAN TO MEET MY CLIENTS NEEDS AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE CLIENT IF THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE DUE TO A SPECIFIC SITUATION. PROVIDING I DO A QUALITY JOB I EXPECT TO GET PAID THE AGREED AMOUNT. IF MY CLIENT IS VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE WORK I DID I DON'T EXPECT TO GET PAID.

I'm wondering if I should ?

A. When I have a no-show go to Walmart pick a street corner and hold up a sign begging for money

B. Forget about servicing the Arab and surrounding area and go service the Huntsville area.

C. Give me your suggestion.

At best I am making it an official policy

1. If you give me 24 hours notice I don't mind rescheduling you I understand things come up.

2. If you contact me within hours of your appointment and need to cancel before I drive to your home due to an emergency it will be a $25 fee if you decide to reschedule

3 .If i drive to your location and you're not there it will be a $60 fee that I will charge on top of the normal fee if you decide to reschedule.

4. If you cancel on me twice in a row for any of the above reasons it will be $150 fee that will be paid before I am willing to make a third appointment

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions.

WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU DO, AND WHAT SERVECES DO YOU OFFER?

- I am a mobile dog groomer. I drive to your home with my mobile dog grooming trailer and you walk your dog right out to be groomed. So much less stress for your dog and you!

- I work with 1 dog at a time in my trailer and your dog will never be in a kennel. This minimizes the stress on your dog. Grooming is not the most natural thing for a lot of dogs, so limiting the stress level is very important. This less stress grooming is ideal for elderly dogs, dogs with medical issues, dogs that get stressed out by other dogs, lots of noise, or car rides.

- I hand blow dry each dog - we don't stick them in a kennel with a dryer pointed at them. Dogs have sensitive hearing so it is less stress for them when we hand blow dry... we can direct the air flow to not blow in there ears and directly into there face. We also pet, talk to, and brush them as we are drying them so that reduces their stress also.

- I get most dogs groomed in 1-2 hours. Occasionally a very large or very harry dogs will take longer than 2 hours.

- I use a Dremel tool to shorten, file and round up your pups nails so they are smooth. It is a safer method than using old fashion dog nail clippers that can split your dog's nails and leaves a flat cut which is easy to get snagged on things.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

- To book an appointment you can send me a message either through messenger, email or phone. Please include your address, the type of dog(s) you would like me to groom and your phone number. I will get back to you with pricing and available dates just as soon as I can (I usually return messages at the end of the day when I'm in front of my calendar).

WHAT TYPES OF SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS DO YOU USE?

- For all of our standard Wash & Grooms we use a hypoallergenic oatmeal based shampoo and conditioner that is gentle on your dogs skin and helps prevent allergic reactions.

- We offer a De-shedding treatment where we use the FURminator shampoo and conditioner which is a high quality mixture that assists in releasing the undercoat.

- We offer a Flea and Tick Treatment. We use a Protein-Lanolin Enriched Shampoo that contains Pyrethrins for effective flea, lice, and tick control.

- We offer a Blue shampoo which will help keep your white dogs coat bright and white.

- We offer a Skunk treatment shampoo. This treatment will help lower the smell of skunk, but please note that there is no treatment that will take the smell away completely!

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

The only thing I need from you is access to an electrical outlet, if possible. If it's not I can bring out my quiet generator.

And of course I need your pup.
