Please help me find my humans! I was roaming around the Southern Oaks RV Park on Hwy 35 Bypass today. Management was nice enough to let me hang out in the office until the PAWlice came to pick me up. The paw-paw have nicknamed me Brownie, because I don't have a collar, tags, or microchip to identify me. I'm a very sweet and affectionate girl. I'm also well-groomed, clean, flea and tick free, and well fed. Someone has been taking good care of me. If you are my humans, or know who I belong to, call APPD Animal Control at 361-758-5224!

UPDATE: Our adventurous friend has been reunited with his family. Thank you to those in the community that shared this post and offered info that assisted us in getting him home!

This sweet, handsome fella showed up at the Aransas Pass Police Department around 4:30 PM this afternoon. He was stressed out and stuck by one of our Dispatchers like velcro. He knew exactly where to go to ask for help!
He doesn't have a collar or tags, so we're calling him Odin. He does have a microchip and notification has been sent to the owners. We can only pray that it is current. If you know who he belongs to, please reach out to us at the APPD non emergency line, 361-758-5224, option 1.

The notorious lemur that has captured the hearts and concerns of many in our community, has finally been caught! Aransas Pass local Spencer Bell, was able to catch the elusive lemur known as Julian, in a live trap last night around 7:00 PM.

Aransas Pass Animal Control arrived at the reported location where the lemur was safely transfered into our custody. Julian is resting quietly with plenty of food, water, and fresh produce.

For those wondering what comes next? Per city policy, Animal Control must give Julian's owner the opportunity to claim their property, therefore must hold the lemur for a minimum of 10

If the owner does not claim Julian at the end of 10 days, he will be transferred to the Ringtail Ranch Lemur Rescue in Lubbock, TX.

The new Aransas Pass Animal Control Officers would like to thank Mr Bell and the community for their assistance, support and patience in recovering Julian safely.

UPDATE: I have been safely reunited with my hoomans! Mom called the pawlice to report me missing. She described me really well and told them my name. I was super excited when the animal control officer called me by my name this morning! When they took me home I was so happy I couldn't stop wiggling and my hoomans couldn't stop smiling! Thank you to everyone that helped to spread awareness of my situation by sharing the original post about me.

On 3/30/2024 these shy, sweet girls were discovered at large together, at Don-ell RV Park, 128 E Myrtle, Aransas Pass. It was reported that the dogs had been roaming the park for at least 3 days prior to their capture. Neither dog was wearing a collar or tags. They are not microchipped.

We have been calling them Daisy and Delilah. Its possible they came from the same household because they seem quite attached to each other. If these are your dogs or if you can help put us in touch with their owner(s) please contact Aransas Pass Animal Control by calling the Police Department non emergency number.
