Aransas Pass Animal Control

As part of our TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Release) Initiative (see previous post), we are seeking a few volunteers to help set cat traps in various neighborhoods and transport them to the animal control shelter on the mornings of February 17-28th.

A meeting for all volunteers will be held on Thursday, February 13th at 4:00pm. Please reach out to Admin Capt. Stephanie Diaz at [email protected] in advance for the volunteer packet that must be completed and approved prior to February 13th.

Lastly, if you would like to donate toward cat traps, donations can be taken at the front desk of the Police Department or at Tractor Supply.

They call me "Tiny Tim." I was wandering around 11th and greenwood. I have a microchip but it is not in the system so animal control cannot get me home without help. If you know my parents or where I live can you call Aransas Pass Animal Control at 361-758-5224 opt. 1. Thank you

Our vet will be closed for the holidays so we will not be servicing cat trap calls. We will continue servicing traps for skunks, racoons, and foxes; and will resume cat service on January 2nd

My name is Alto. I was a puppy when my owner decided he could not handle me and tried to give me away. When he was told "no", my owner took me outside and tied me to a stop sign. I am still young and full of energy but I do behave well and walk well on a leash. All I want for Christmas is a home with a nice fenced in yard that I can play in. My name is Dobby (yes, just like the house elf). 2 months ago my family packed up their RV and took off leaving me alone on the streets. I am very calm, quiet and neat. I love to go on long walks. For Christmas I would love to find someone to lounge around with when we are not going on long walks around the neighborhood. ****UPDATE- I HAVE A NEW HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!****

Hi! Hi! Hi! I'm Hawkeye. I was picked up injured when I was just a couple weeks old. Animal control has been taking care of me and I am all healthy now. I'm still little but my shelter parents tell me I'm going to be BIG, I' cant wait. I am pretty well potty trained (not completely but I am working on it). I follow them around the shelter bouncing on my big feet that I am still getting used to. Help Santa find me a home for Christmas please.
