If you borrow something from
Someone and something break you fix it. It doesn’t matter if it was already worn out. If you pick up a vehicle with half a tank you bring it back full. That’s the respectable thing to do.
Today when I pulled into the yard I noticed the tire was going flat. All the shops were closed to swap it out. Since my trailer has the same tire as the one I borrowed, I brought a new tire with to replace the one that was flat. Most people wouldn’t but I was raised better than that.
