I got to see my SMUSHY last week. His baby floofer sister is doing some training with us and I got to squeeze him. Jake is still Jake as you can see lmao. I told his rescue from the beginning that whoever adopts him MUST have a good sense of humor.

This girl boarding with me is 16! 16!!!! She’s a sweet little hunting lab from a local field breeder and has lived with a family for 15 years. I love doing “home boarding” because it allows me to take dogs like this- old young special needs etc. She would be miserable in a standard big loud concrete guillotine door boarding facility. Instead, she’s here on my couch and being kept comfy and safe. The “young hood rats” I have here have learned to leave her alone and that she’s not a wrestler and everyone has been respectful. Her family was so worried and not having much luck finding a place that could (or would) take her considering her age so I accepted. Everyone knows the geriatric dogs are my heart.

My favorite little man went home yesterday! He was with us for a couple weeks for our “baby boot camp” working on potty training crate training basic commands and his shyness with other dogs (that’s long gone lol he’s a beast). He will be continuing to work with us training towards becoming a service dog one day. My house is so quiet without a puppy bopping around lol

These 2 are littermates and live with different families miles apart. Murphy has been here for training and Auggie is here for a sleepover to get him some exposure to other dogs. I’m not sure if siblings and parents recognize eachother but it almost seems like they do!
This is one of the best parts of working with a good breeder. A lot of their pups come to me! 🥰🐾

Murphy has been here for training and Auggie is here for a sleepover to get him some exposure to other dogs. I’m not sure if siblings and parents recognize eachother but it almost seems like they do! This is one of the best parts of working with a good breeder. A lot of their pups come to me! 🥰🐾

This little love muffin baby dog is Murphy. He’s here for a kindergarten camp. We’re working on his potty and crate training as well as some basic commands. Before he came here, he had a scary incident at home with the older dog so he was terrified of dogs. Look at him now! He has friends. Murphy’s end goal is to be a diabetic alert dog for his dad so he has a lot of learning to do as he grows.

Lando!

Lando the labbo recently went home after doing a boot camp with us. He had the most fun playing with other dogs and hiking almost everyday but also did the most learning! Lando’s favorite pastime is jumping on people, breaking place, and running across the road chasing deer. He even went missing once for hours right before a big snow storm! It was a challenge at times getting a solid recall on him when he wanted to follow that nose but he did great. His mom just contacted me and said she was able to call him off of a bunny! That’s huge for him.
