We’ll be taking a much-needed break to recharge, so our hospital will be closed from Friday, August 30th through Monday, September 2nd. We'll be back and ready to help you at 8 AM on Tuesday, September 3rd.

If you need to order or pick up your pets prescription, let us know, and we’ll have it ready for you to pick up on Thursday before 5 PM.

In case of any pet emergencies over the weekend, please reach out to SAVES or VEG in South Asheville, or Western Carolina in Flat Rock.

Why are we taking a holiday?

At Bright Vet, Dr. Roberts wanted to instill a key component to our company culture: holiday time off. We all like to pretend vet med is all bully rubs, treats, and smiles. The side that isn't shown can be demanding on the care team both emotionally and physically. We've chosen to close our doors around some major holidays. Yes, we understand this can frustrating to our pet parents if urgent care issues arise. However, there are great emergency hospitals in our area. We believe our team deserves an extended break to recharge, enjoy sunshine, be with family, rest, run, or do whatever makes them unique outside of Bright Vet. This holiday break brings our team back refreshed and ready to deliver you and your pet the best veterinary care experience in Asheville!

Tomorrow, Friday 5/24, we are closed. However, if you need a prescription refill we're available until 11am (tomorrow only). We'll be closed on Monday 5/26 and will return Tuesday 5/27 @ 8:00am. We always offer direct, stress-free booking on our website 24/7–365 days a year.

Meet one of our day ones, Berkley. He is recovering from a recent ACL repair surgery at our hospital. Like humans, this is one of the more serious injuries to an active lifestyle. The one you never want to hear. We are grateful for the opportunity to help him back to full-strength. We look forward to more face licks Berkley!
