Many of you know Dr. McMullan’s son, Rowan. His best friend, Elijah, was recently in a very serious biking accident where he suffered a severe arm injury. He had to be life-flighted from the scene, and Rowan stayed right by his side through it all.

We’re a little late to share, but the news is just too good… DR. MCMULLAN has once again been voted Best Vet for 2025! 🎉

On top of that, our clinic placed 3rd for Best Veterinary Services and we couldn’t be more honored, flattered, and downright giddy about it.😊

We’re so grateful for our amazing team who made this possible, for our wonderful clients, and of course for our patients—the real reason we do what we do. 🐶🐱🐰

This weekend we had the joy of celebrating our amazing RVT, Amy, at her bridal shower! 💍

We laughed, we painted her, and most importantly, we showed her just how loved she is.

📞 If you call us today, there is no excuse for us not to answer the phone on the first ring. We’ve got an extra receptionist helping out. Her name is Ada.

Here’s the thing though… we’re not totally convinced about her performance. The team had a little meeting about it, and honestly, we can’t figure out one solid way she’s contributed. If anything, she’s only made us sweep more than normal. Still, we decided to give her one more day to prove herself.

Should Ada stay on the team, or should we give her the boot?🥾

We’d like to take a quick moment to introduce Barbara —our new practice manager! 🎉 She’s been with us for just two weeks and we already think she’s wonderful. Shes bringing 20+ years experience with her to Pinnacle.

Barbara is efficient, a problem solver, and very friendly. We’re honestly downright delighted to have her on our team! If you see her when you visit, be sure to give her a warm welcome and maybe have a quick chat about elephants!🐘

We feel very lucky to have her here with us!

This upcoming Monday we’ll be closed for Labor Day—and heaven knows we’ve been laborin’! 🤠

It’s a big day — Happy International Dog Day! ✨🐾

Today’s dog model 💁🏻‍♀️ is sweet Sally, celebrating her very first International Dog Day at just 17 weeks old! She gave us a little smile (maybe a nervous one) while being such a good girl for her vaccines today. 💕🐾

We are thankful to all the incredible canines who share our homes (fuzzy or hairless!). They are family members, best friends, coworkers, therapists, medical assistants, and so much more. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine life without them. 💛🐶

We highly recommend pampering your pup today to show them just how loved they are! Maybe swing by for a pup cup, take them on a special trip to the park, or even just mark your calendar for the upcoming Dog Day Afternoon at Lake Julian Park on 9/13. 🐕🌳🎉

We got to spend some time yesterday with one of our staff favorites — Jack Jack! 🐶 He came in for his dental. We’re convinced he may have the world’s longest dog tongue. Honestly, we should’ve taken measurements so we could submit him to the Guinness Book of World Records. His meds yesterday made it droop even longer than usual. Do you think he’s ever tripped on it before? 👅😂

Extra tidbit: Jack Jack likes to recreationally capture opossums at night and then bring them in the house. He then proceeds to go wake his dad up to let him know there’s an opossum in the house.

Iris and Bollo came in yesterday for their annual exams with Dr. Golden, and we couldn’t help but laugh when we opened the door — all three of them were perfectly posed like they were ready for a photo shoot. We’re pretty sure they could land a modeling gig with or .📸🐾

There are Mondays… and then there are those Mondays.
Katie D. had one of those Mondays — the kind that set an entire mood. 🤣🤭

This afternoon, Katie W. caught her doing her best Humpty Dumpty 🥚 impression after getting locked in the dumpster pen… without her phone. Luckily, we caught her before she had a great fall. We aren’t exactly sure what she planned to do once she got both legs over that wall.

She swears this may be the worst photo ever taken of her but regardless we’re pretty sure this picture is destined for Pinnacle history — printed out, posted on the wall, and never forgotten. 📸
