A Parrots Tale Evaluate parrots & environment to determine causes of negative behavior and teach owners how to easily change these behaviors primarily thru training.

Heather Snipes is a professional parrot trainer whose mission is to help parrots, pure and simple. Her goal is to help parrots keep their present homes and find new homes for the countless homeless birds in this country. By educating the public on companiion parrots needs, not only the basics of diet & exercise, but meeting the needs of their instinctual, emotional, and intellectual superiority en

riches the parrots life and their relationship with their humans. Every year thousands of parrots are abandoned to rescues and b/c they live so long, the number of parrots without homes keeps climbing every year. Meanwhile profiteers are still out there breeding more. If we can educate the public about the responsibilities, and more importantly the fun and enrichment of parrot ownership, we would have a landslide of people waiting to give them great homes. Heather helps parrot owners who are faced with bahavior issues they don't know how to address, and too often lead to the owners relinquishing their feathered kids. She goes to parrots homes and teaches owners everything they need to provide their parrot with a healthy diet, a safe environment, and enrichment to busy their active little minds. This in turn leads to a happier bird who is a joy to parent. Parrot ownership is not difficult, it just takes a little knowledge and a little commitment to set them up for success! You will never have a more entertaining pet who is closer to your heart!

Jasper likes to take a shower with an open mouth. He ends up with more water in his tummy than on his body. I felt his belly and SURPR ISE, the water came shooting back out his mouth.
