Kidding season has officially come to an end 3 does each gave birth to 2 bucklings we have 0 does this year. All these bucklings are flashy and at least 5 will be finding their own home. This was a one time breeding with this sire so I hoped I'd get a doe out of it but not my luck this year. Will hope the buck births give me a good milk supply 🙏🙏

Kidding season has officially begun. So far Nyomee has 2 gorgeous bucklings. Looks like Pebbles should be next and then Penny. Watch this year be a buckling season since I been blessed the last 5 with does from my last herdsire lol

When you are sad cause your BCM hens are not laying fertile eggs 😢 Do you know how hard it is for me to Crack these? Last year I was selling chicks right now. sighs. At least I got buff brahmas and Easter Eggers to keep me busy til I find them a Rooster.

If you are donating food to food banks, the homeless or just anywhere this is a good list to think about when doing so! ❤️

1. Everyone donates Kraft Mac and Cheese in the box. They can rarely use it because it needs milk and butter which is hard to get from regular food banks.

2. Boxed/Powdered milk is a treasure, as kids need it for cereal which they also get a lot of.

3. Everyone donates pasta sauce and spaghetti noodles.

4. They cannot eat all the awesome canned veggies and soup unless you put a can opener in too or buy pop tops.

5. Oil is a luxury but needed for Rice a-Roni which they also get a lot of.

6. Spices or salt and pepper would be a real Christmas gift.

7. Tea bags and coffee make them feel like you care.

8. Sugar and flour are treats.

9. They fawn over fresh produce donated by farmers and grocery stores.

10. Seeds are cool in Spring and Summer because growing can be easy for some.

11. They rarely get fresh meat.

12. Tuna and crackers make a good lunch.

13. Hamburger Helper goes nowhere without ground beef.

14. They get lots of peanut butter and jelly but usually not sandwich bread.

15. Butter or margarine is nice too.

16. Eggs are a real commodity.

17. Cake mix and frosting makes it possible to make a child’s birthday cake.

18. Dishwashing detergent is very expensive and is always appreciated.

19. Feminine hygiene products are a luxury and women will cry over that.

20. Everyone loves Stove Top Stuffing.

If you're anything like me, I've always donated what I thought would be good or a treat for someone to have. We don't always know what's need and/or wanted, but this information is great! I found this list somewhere online and thought it was well worth sharing.

We are considering opening discussion on these 2 doelings born in April. Dam Wilkins RW Claire shown was an American Grand Champion Doe and their sire is a beautiful (milky) buck The BB Beauties Marvel.

Yes the goats are having kids, Yes the goats are in milk. No we are not selling milk this week. We gotta feed the babies the gold first. 🤣 Milk is coming soon we promise. Here is Maizee our SNubian and her kids she had 1 of each. We are retaining the boy to whether for our new buckling and the doeling we are still assessing.

As you all know BB Beauties Marvel has been our starter herdsire and he's brought us some gorgeous does to our herd. This boy is gonna introduce some great improvements to our future herd!
