💥Trivia Time💥 We got a new critter & can you guess what it is?

It was on the endangered species list from 1973-1987.

It can go through 2,000 to 3,000 teeth.

At any one time, there are around 80 teeth, and a single tooth can be regenerated up to 50 times.

💥💥This page does not have any affiliation with vendor events. If you buy an animal at a vendor event, you need to contact the breeder by email or phone that’s why there are business cards available!!💥💥

We’ve been getting a lot of messages about different things that don’t pertain to the petting zoo. If we have already been in contact with you through messages we will continue to take care of it but from here on out vendor event questions need to go through the email or phone!

This fella of the critters is a Brahman Bull calf. The Brahman also known as Brahma originated from Bo’s indicus cattle from India. All Bo’s indicus cattle are characterized by a large hump over the top of the shoulder and neck. Brahmans are intermediate in size among beef breeds. Bulls will genereally weigh from 1600 to 2200 pounds. Their lifespan is 15 to 20 years!

This critter is the hopper of the bunch. She is a wallaby. She’s considered the red-necked wallaby due to the reddish fur on her shoulders & nape. Red-necked wallabies are herbivores and their diet consists of grasses, roots, tree leaves & weeds. Adult size: Height 2 ft 7.5 inches, weight 30-40 lbs, top speed is 39 mph & their lifespan is 7-15 years.

This gal here has been with us the shortest amount of time out of the critters. She is a Kinkajou, which is also known as the honey bear. They like to raid beehives for the golden liquid. Adult size: Length 16 to 30 inches, Weight 3-10 pounds, Tail Length 15-22 inches. Their average lifespan is 20 years!

Introducing Mr. Nosey of the crazy critters today! He is a Mountain Coatimundi which are South American Raccoons. He is related to both the kinkajous & North American Raccoons. Coatis are omnivores with a lot of energy, a curious streak and just like their Northern Cousins, they forge for food in the wild. Adult Size is anywhere from 7 to 14 pounds and they can live up to 14 years!

These are the camels of the family. Female on the left & Male on the right. They are both Dromedary Camels, also known as the one hu**ed camel. They are the tallest of the three species of camel, adult males stand 5ft 10in - 7ft 10.5in weighing 880-1300 lbs. Adult Females stand 5ft 7in - 6ft 3in weighing 660-1200lbs. Both have a life expectancy of 40-50 years. A lot of people ask us if we get spit at....honestly we have never been spit at once!!!
