We would like to express our appreciation to everyone who camped with us at Lake Ray Roberts State Park over the weekend. The event was well-attended and filled with enjoyable moments, good company, and excellent cuisine. Additionally, we thank our guest speakers for their valuable insights and recognize the efforts made to install electrical hookups and equestrian stalls at the park by our dear friends at LRRETA ❤️.
From this past weekend’s campout…A little sample of our talented musical guest Ernie Eden. He played for 2 hours!! 🔥🎶

Cross Timbers trail, Dunham road trailhead. Argyle
Beautiful morning on the freshly mowed Cross Timbers trail!! If you’ve never tried it, head over there, it’s in great shape!
Out at Lake Ray Roberts this week! Nice and shady between isle du bois and elm form! Be warned though…the horse flies are out! Spray spray spray!
Trails at Pilot Knoll are in good shape with the exception of the lower loop section as you approach the park and watering hole…there is a large amount of drift wood and debris on a short section of the trail. It’s avoidable so be careful and watch for the little “cut across” that will jump you from lower to upper trail to get around that section! Hopefully it will be cleared out soon! Otherwise trail is in great shape 😀 the cicadas are loud! Lol

Wish you guys were here! Here we are again, with our annual Fort Worth, Stockyards, Trinity Trail riders. We will be having lunch at Cooper's barbecue when we are done! Having a blast!
Pilot Knoll Ride this past Wednesday...trail footing is excellent! There are currently some low hanging branches and a few trees that have come down along the path...it is still 100% passable...if you are interested in riding/walking the path and trimming branches and helping move debris please let us know!
