CTETA provides these volunteer services to over 25 miles of trails in Denton County, North Texas. Army Corps of Engineers at the following locations:
Lewisville Lake
Pilot Knoll Trail (Highland Village and Copper Canyon, TX)
Elm Fork/Hickory Creek Trail (Denton County and Corinth, TX)
Grapevine Lake
Rocky Point Trail (Flower Mound, TX)
Cross Timbers Trail

Walnut Grove Trail (Southlake)

Rocky Point Trail on Lake Grapevine is about 10 feet under water. It was a beautiful, serene kayak paddle. But we’d rather have our trails back!

FYI Southlake trails/Bob Jones trail head directions.
The bridge on White Chapel road is under construction and will be for months. Check your maps for the best route to get to the Bob Jones trail head. It looks like Solana exit, go under 114 - left onto T King Rd, right onto Bob Jones road.

2024 Fall Camp Clinic

WHEN: Friday, October 25th (check in 2pm)- Sunday, October 27nd (check out noon)
WHERE: Lake Ray Roberts State Park, Isle Du Bois, Bluestem. We have reserved the entire Blue Stem for this event.

COST: One-Camper w/electric- $75.00 incl one parking spot and one-horse stall. ($50 w/out elec)*
Two-Campers w/electric- $100.00 Incl one parking spot and two stalls. ($80 w/out elec)*

Choice of site in order of payment received.
RSVP- text Ramona @ 214/334-4334 w/ # of campers, site & stall request, once payment received slot will be confirmed. Again, first paid, first choice.

Getting the solar lights charged for the camp clinic! Packing the trailer with Hay, feed and camp supplies! One week away! Don't forget to RSVP if you intend to day ride and $25.00 for Saturday night the 6th dinner if you are not a registered camper. Beautiful morning on the freshly mowed Cross Timbers Trail! If you haven’t ever ridden it or haven’t visited in a while, head out there! It’s in great shape 😀😀

Beautiful morning on the freshly mowed Cross Timbers trail!! If you’ve never tried it, head over there, it’s in great shape!

Out at Lake Ray Roberts this week! Nice and shady between isle du bois and elm form! Be warned though…the horse flies are out! Spray spray spray!

Trails at Pilot Knoll are in good shape with the exception of the lower loop section as you approach the park and watering hole…there is a large amount of drift wood and debris on a short section of the trail. It’s avoidable so be careful and watch for the little “cut across” that will jump you from lower to upper trail to get around that section! Hopefully it will be cleared out soon! Otherwise trail is in great shape 😀 the cicadas are loud! Lol

Annual Fort Worth Trinity Trail Ride.

Another annual Fort Worth Stock Yard Ride completed! A great time was had by all. Thank you all so much. We are grateful for our new friends. Lunch was great, thank you, Walk-on's Bistro. Congratulations, to our new President, Sara DiPietro for a wonderful job hosting this event! See you all at the obstacle clinic next month!

Pilot Knoll Ride this past Wednesday...trail footing is excellent! There are currently some low hanging branches and a few trees that have come down along the path...it is still 100% passable...if you are interested in riding/walking the path and trimming branches and helping move debris please let us know!
