Owned and managed by Debbie DiVecchia, respected throughout the county as a great horsewoman with an impeccable eye and talent for producing top level horses. ccess at Devon, Indoors and Pony Finals. Windswept Farm provides a solid training system for both horse and rider. Many junior riders have received scholarships to major universities through their equestrian achievements with Windswept Farm. GSEC Autumn Classic Results

Reserve Champion - L’estienne and Mikal Christoffersen in the Limit Hunter!

Reserve Champion - Sir Lorentin and Taylor Rubel in the younger 3’ Adult Amateur Hunter! They also had a very successful National Derby debut!

Kirby Lane and April Burke bring home a 1st place as well as other top placings in their Long Stirrup Division! Kirby was also 2’3” GSEC Hunter champion with Megan in the irons!

Stormy Affair and Viviane Brothers earn the win in the 3’3” Junior Hunter handy and finish out the weekend 2nd in the Junior Hunter Classic with an 81 and an 84.5!

Deejay and Ryan Krueger had a great outing in the Children’s Hunters earning great ribbons out of a competitive group!

Mazzeltoff MV owned by Over the Top Ventures LLC had great rounds in 3’ Greens with a 7th place finish in the undersaddle out of 26!

La Vie Est Belle owned by Nancy Williky also had beautiful rounds in the very competitive 3’ Greens.

Reserve Champion - Sir Lorentin and Taylor Rubel in 3’ Adult Hunter as well as 4th in the Classic

🥇 Champion - Heylo & Megan Mullane in 1.20m Open Jumpers.

🥈 Reserve Champion - Kirby Lane & April Burke in W/T/C cross rails. We are so excited for this new partnership and can’t wait to watch their future success!

✨Stormy Affair owned by Viviane Brothers finished 8th over all and 4th in Tier II standings against some of the nicest horses in the country in the Texas Super Series Group Championship with Megan Mullane in the irons. We are so pleased with this young horse and how he has developed over the years!

✨ The Lighthouse owned by Ashley Smith with Megan Mullane aboard had a great experience and respectable trips around his first Texas Super Series Group Championship!

✨ Stormy Affair & Viviane Brothers had a great week in the 3’3” Junior Hunters earning themselves a 🥈 and 🥉! Also having great trips in the USHJA Regional National Derby Junior Section ending up 18th over all!

✨ The Lighthouse & Ashley Smith had wonderful trips in the in Adult Hunters and the USHJA National Derby Amateur Section ending up 10th over all! Their first derby together ever!

✨Honor owned by Johnnie Martin-Carey had another great field trip to his second show to school and see all the happenings going on around a show horse life. This lovely young horse will no doubt be a top contender in the future!

We had a fabulous couple of weeks in Brownland!💚

Brownland Farm Summer:

•Instrumental and Sue champion in the 36 & over adults.

•MTM Global and Gabby reserve champion in the 3'3" junior hunters with their first show with Windswept Farm!! They also placed fifth in the combined JR hunter classic. Excited to have this new pair in the barn.

• L'estienne and Megan win a class in the 3' greens, as well as other top placings in the division. L'estienne also did her first derby with an unfortunate rail in the handy round to put her just out of the placings!

• Shine to Perfection and Sue win two classes in the 2'3" USHJA.

•Stormy Affair and Viviane win the 3'3" junior hunter
U/S and place well in other classes in the division.

•Stormy and Megan also placed fifth in the USHJA green hunter incentive.

•Highnote and Jennifer placed fourth in the A/0 classic. They also had good rounds throughout the weekend in the 3'3" A/Os.

•Mazzeltoff MV and Jayne Beth competed in the 18-35 adult for a great first show together. Mattzo and Megan also had great rounds in the 3' greens to put only a couple points out of reserve champion.

•Westbound and Macy showed in the 3'6" juniors and put out some great rounds for their first show with Windswept.

Week two-

•MTM Global and Megan champion in the combined 3'3"3'6" performance. Global and Gabby won the Large 3'3" junior hunter handy and put in a few more good rounds for eighth in the junior hunter classic.

•Westbound and Macy won 3/5 classes in the 3'6" junior hunter for champion.

•Stormy Affair and Megan reserve champion in the 3'3" greens and second in the USHJA green hunter incentive. Stormy and Viviane were also third in the junior hunter classic.

•Mazzeltoff MV and Megan reserve champion in the 3' greens. Mattzo and Jayne Beth were fifth in the adult classic and competed in the 18-35 adults.

•Instrumental and Sue reserve champion in the 36 & over adults, as well as fourth in the adult classic.
Jimmy was also third in the USHJA green hunter incentive.

•Shine to Perfection and Sue win a class in the 2' and also put in some rounds in the 2'3" USHJA.

•L'estienne and Megan were eleventh in the Brownland Derby and had some good placings in the 3' greens.

•L'estienne and Mikal were also second in the childrens classic.

•Highnote and Jennifer were seventh in the A/O classic

Congratulations Viviane on your win today!🦄

Bringing back the past As I watched Debbie and Katharyn prepare BriteSide for their classes, it brought me back a little to when things were unique and special to the individual Horse and Rider. I miss the days when hunters looked like they had no restrictions while jumping effortlessly. I wonder if leasing horses we have lost the bond from Rider and horse that once existed. Maybe because most kids today lease for one or two years instead of owning a horse for a longer period. Perhaps you lose the time that gives you the uniqueness with horse and riders while performing in the show ring. This weekend in Gulfport, Brite side, and Katharyn we're truly amazing! The trust they had in each other was so apparent and with complete Harmony with each other. (some would say the universe) free flow moment hitting distance with little or no adjustment. Brite side looking like he's was having a time of his life. Jumping with the scope and landing so soft you could hear a pin drop. As they approach the last jump I was thinking ( god I hope she finds the distance). It was that good! and sure enough, perfect distance, as Brite side lofted in the air with scope as if they were in slow motion, with a cat-like landing. To me, those are the trip you don't teach they are so special God-like. I wonder how many times I will see them. Well I suppose that's why we as horse people keep waking up every day and putting up long hours and hard work. lol.
