I am done accepting deer for the season. I have made some good business but I have too many projects stacking up around the house. Thank you everyone who brought me your deer. The ones I post after these are ones that I already have in the freezer.

As you all know the regular season of 2020 rifle season is closing out today. I want to thank everyone. Thank you for liking the page, buying shirts, bringing me deer to work on, and recommending me to friends.

I have always done a few mounts a year but this is the first year I took on all that I could. It did get a little overwhelming at some points but I enjoyed it.
•
With that being said I am not done taking deer because it is still bow season and the Christmas hunt has yet to come. Give me a call when you get one.

It is a plaque making kind of night.

These rough plaques are ready for sanding and stain tomorrow. The sanding and stain give them a more clean appearance. This process also cleans the wood and prevents small wood particles or dirt that was on the wood from getting on your wall and in your house. Some people do like the rough look though. If I have one of your deer at the moment and you have a plaque ordered let me know if you like the rough look and I will not sand and stain yours.

Update on the two deer from Friday. They turned out great. These customers chose to go without a plaque. The mounts without a plaque come with a wire on the back of the head to hang directly on a nail.

REMINDER

I can do more than just deer. I’ve done Deer, Rams, Bobcats and even a Duck head. All skulls are very similar and I am always up for a challenge. Bring me something new and I won’t charge you if it does not turn out exactly how you like.

PLAQUES

The plaques that I make come with:
Two wire anchors securing the head to the board.
An easy to use hanger on the back.
A block to tilt the head up.
They also come stained.
(^ the last two can be removed)

I can make plaques to hang on the wall or ones that sit on the table. The wood they are made out of is reclaimed barn wood. The plaques are always unique in that I have never made the same one twice. This can be done at request though, or you can send me a design you want. Symbols, names, and letters are another option that can be added to plaques. As I continue to post photos you will see more plaque styles.

Welcome, I offer European Mounts of any animal you have. I have experience with Deer, Hog, Ram, and Bobcat. I also make custom plaques. These can be made to sit on the table or hang on the wall.
